Present Time:
"So that was when you first had feelings for Mr. Farber?" asked the police officer.
"Yes," I said,"But it was strange because it was as if we had a special connection. Of course I loved Kevin, but it was as if Bryan was my soul mate."
"This man should be in jail!" yelled my dad.
"I don't see what the big deal is!" I yelled," Yes he is my teacher, but he is only a couple years older than me which is perfectly normal."
"Only your teacher?! That right there pisses me off. A teacher is to help children learn and through their problems. Not by fucking!" hollered my dad.
"He did help me learn. He did help me through my problems. That is why I care for him so much because he was there for me! Unlike you!"
"What do you mean I wasn't there for you?! For your whole life I have payed for you." my father said as if he was shocked by my statement.
"Money doesn't mean a thing. Emotionally, mentally, physically you weren't. You tried to make it up the past few years after moving back in, but it was and still is too late."
"So you looked towards Mr. Farber as some type of confort?" asked the officer.
"Yes...I did."
"What about your boyfriend?" the officer asked.
"What about my ex-boyfriend?" I wanted to make it very clear that me and him are finished.
"How did he see Mr. Farber as?"
"A friend..."
"He only thought of him as just a friend to you?"
"In the beginning he did."
"So what happened?" camed a voice that hadn't spoken this whole time. My mom got up from where she was and came closer to me. She looked very weak and exausted and upset. I wanted so badly to take the pain from her.
"Erica...that's what happened."
