I think I fell in love with my teacher! (Watty Awards 2013)

Chapter 15

While sitting in the main office waiting to be called on to enter the Principal's office, i looked across the hall into the nurse's office.  I could see Erica in there being assisted with her wounds.  Oh this is the highlight of my day!  Next to being held by Brian of course.  She went on and on about how her head hurted and the nurse kept applying pressure to the cuts on her face.  At one point Erica saw me smiling a huge grin at her and she looked at me in disgust.   As soon as that happened paramedics entered the front of the building and went into the nurses office.  They were taking her to the hospital!  Yeah bitch!  

"Miss Daniels." said the principal.  I hated the principal.  Not because he was ugly and old, but because he judged you.  You get into trouble once in your whole High School life and all of a sudden you are a bad student.   Well I'm not in the mood for this b.s. so he better just make it quick.  I raised out of my chair and walked straight into his office.  

"Have a seat Miss Daniels." he spoke. 

This old man sat behind his oversized desk in his big chair to make himself look more intimidating.  Instead he looked more entertaining.  His tie was crooked, his grey hairi had a comb over, and lets not start on his glasses.

"It has come to my attention that you have been showing violence in our school today.." stated in his slow, deep voice.

Oh god save me.

"...and I am very disappointed to hear this. School is for students who..."

I just zoned out.  I so did not want to hear this.  Now I am a very good student.  I respect all adults who are asswholes and always do my work.  But today is not my day.  But of course he won't give me a break.

"...therefore, I have no choice but to suspend you for the full 10 days."

That caught my attention.

"What!?  Are you serious.  I was defending myself.  She attacked me verbally and emotionally and I fight back and get 10 Days!  I could under stand 5 or something like that, but 10!"

"I'm sorry Miss Daniels, but the student was badly beaten and had to be hospitalized.  If we don't take a serious approach as to what happened today, the police could be involved."

"Hospitalized for what!?" I yelled.

"She may have a minor concussion and needs to be treated according to protocall" he stated.

"Oh boy" I said.

I slumped in my chair and waited for my dad to pick me up.  He didn't look mad or anything, so there wasn't really anything to say.  As we got out of the car, my dad stopped me before I went inside.

"Umm...I'm proud of what you did...and I hope you beat that little girl senseless." was what he said.

I looked surprised because that was so not what I was expecting to hear from him.

"Umm...thanks" I said.

We got out of the car and went inside.  Now it was time to hear what my mom had to say on the topic of me being suspended.
