It has been more than 3 months since Bryan left. Every single day I keep wishing that I would see him, but I don't. Kevin seems to be more happy now that Mr. Farber is gone, but I'm not. Erica has been talking more shit than before, knowing there is nobody to stop me from getting suspended again.
It was the middle of April, and it was spring break. I was sitting in ninth period english watching the clock. Waiting for spring break to begin. I knew exactly what I was going to do. Sleep in late, hang with Brandy on the week days, and Kevin on the weekends, and stay up all night. Seems like a normal 10 day vacation for a 16 year old.
Ring. Ring. Ring.
The bell rung and everyone was excited to be out. I ran to my locker and met up with Brandy at hers.
"Party over here! Party over there!" she chanted.
I just laughed at how crazy she was. Well she was a junior, you can't be that surprised.
We were walking down the hallway and being loud as ever. That was when I noticed a very hot guy. Was he a new student or something? He was carrying a big brown box full of stuff into Mr. Farber's old classroom. I told Brandy to wait for me outside while I went to investigate.
"Hey you!" I said to the guy.
He turned around and dropped the box. He had on some straight legged jeans and a black wife beater. He also had brown shaggy hair.
OMG. My heart stopped beating.
"Bryan...your back!" I squealed. I could not believe that after all this damn time he was finally standing in front of me. In plain sight. "Oh my god. I can't believe this."
I ran towards him to jump into his arms.
"How are you Miss Tina?"
We hugged eachother really tight. I was too happy to curse him out for not coming back sooner.
"Do you have any idea how boring and aggrivating my life has been since you left?" I told him.
He just smirked.
"I've missed you too." he said.
After we finished hugging, he was staring at me with curious eyes. I didn't know exactly why he was staring at me, but he was.
"Tina, what the hell is that?" he asked kind of worried.
"What's what?" I said.
"That right here" He touched the side of my neck and I flinched. His eyes started blazing.
"Tina..." was what he said.
Damn. He knows what happened.
"It's nothing" I tried to fool him.
He shook his head.
"Tell me." he said.
"It's nothing." I told him again.
"Like hell it isn't Tina. I see the finger marks on your damn neck" he said angrily.
I tried to cover them with my hair. Bryan sat on a desk and pulled me close to him.
He looked me dead in the eyes.
"Tell me" he begged.
"It was...it was...."
I didn't want to say it. I was embarrassed that I have become one of those victims. I was worried as to what Bryan might do after I tell him. I was just scared. I sighed.
"It was...Kevin."
