Jimin understands the situation he is in. He understands that if it wasn't him suffering then Taehyung would have to and in all honesty, Jimin would rather kill himself than see Taehyung lose his smile and laugh.
So Jimin stayed positive and tried to push more people away. The more he was left alone the easier it got. His friends, Hoseok, Jungkook, Seokjin, Namjoon and Yoongi all want to talk to him but Jimin had a temper and if someone triggers something close to Jimin's heart, he won't hesitate to inflict any pain towards the individual.
Jimin stayed alone to keep everyone safe, he moved from Korea with no one knowledge, not even his parents. Jimin now lives in Florida, he can't say he loves it but getting into fights here was merely stepping out of your house. Which was a good thing since Jimin needed to blow off steam once in a while.
Soon after 5 years, Jimin's friends found Jimin while they were on holiday and still then, Jimin would ignore them. Seokjin knew exactly why now, he released 2 years back why Jimin became so distant, he remembered back when Jimin killed Taehyung.
Seokjin said that Jimin was scared of himself.
