Pain won't just fade, it will latch onto you until someone or something you love decides to assist you in the removal of the pain. Even for a split second.
Taehyung is in pain but will never show it, the boy is emotionally unstable and needs someone, or to be exact he needs Jimin. The only individual who can see right through the plastic smile, the one who would constantly ask if he was okay. To which Taehyung would nod and speak 'I'm okay' when deep down his voice screamed 'I'm not okay.'
●
Taehyung had just come home from school, 'I'm home' he announced only to not get a reply which scared him. The young boy strolled into the home, eyes darting everywhere looking for his parents and once he stepped into the kitchen, there they were, quietly sitting there almost as though they were waiting for Taehyung's arrival.
"We got a phone call from the school." His mother spoke, voice rich with anger.
Taehyung's mere response was to nod.
"From the school counselor." His father added.
And this comment sent more fear through Taehyung, he swallowed thick restraining himself from showing any emotion. Merely again, nodded.
His father stood up and advanced towards him, his intimidating height always leaving Taehyung scared.
"Are you gay son?" He asked. His voice coming out rough, trying to hold in anger.
Taehyung timidly shakes his head "no father."
His father nods before saying 'good' and 'now go do your homework.' Taehyung obliged giving a smile to his parents before leaving to his room. Once the boy silently closed his door and heard a click, he couldn't help but sit down on his floor, his expression so plain, so bland. He held his hands in his lap, tightly clasped together staring out to whatever was in front of him.
'I am gay.'
He whispered, his voice quivering, a thick lump in his throat forming as he held in the tears threatening to fall. Taehyung didn't know how long he sat there in that same position but was snapped out of his dark thoughts when his phone vibrated in his pocket.
Jimin.
His name nicely printed in a san serif font on his phone with the emoji of a heart. Taehyung smiled before answering the phone, placing to his ear was a mistake as Jimin's voice boomed from the cellular device.
"They accept me!" He squeaked, voice breaking to which he laughed at.
"That's good Jiminie." Taehyung exclaimed.
"Are you okay?" Jimin suddenly asks.
Before Taehyung could ask 'why do you think I'm not okay?' Or 'how do you know?' Jimin spoke again.
"Your voice sounds as though you want to cry. You're not okay don't say you are. Meet me in the park in 5 minutes!" He quickly says hanging up the phone.
Taehyung gasps out his name before sighing in defeat. Knowing his parents won't allow him to see Jimin at all right now after hearing he might be gay. So the boy climbed out through his window, slipping on some pair of shoes laying around in his room.
His arrival at the park had him wondering where Jimin was, well because Jimin is known to be early and the fact Taehyung slowly dragged his feet behind him the whole walk to the park. Slowly the boy sat on a near by bench, staring up at the sky which held a dark shade of orange due to the sun dying away for the night.
It wasn't much of a surprise to Taehyung when Jimin suddenly arrived laughing historically and he most certainly was not shocked why he was laughing.
"Sorry I was late. I bumped into Jungkook." Jimin apologies, hands on knees as he takes in deep breaths trying to steady his breathing.
Taehyung didn't reply, he felt an immense amount of jealously wash through him which resulted in him to stay silent.
"Hey what's wrong? Did you come out to your parents?" Jimin asks, the laughter gone and voice now heavily laced with concern.
"You know I can't come out to them. I mean they almost found out and- ah Jimin why do they hate people like me?" Taehyung questions, his now glossy eyes raising up to meet with Jimin's.
"Hey it' okay." Jimin reassures moving to sit next to the boy.
"I wish it was okay Jimin." The younger mumbles, head now hug low.
"I'm physically a disappointment to my family. I bet they wish they had another child so they can completely ignore me."
Jimin roughly latched his hands on Taehyung's shoulders forcing the sorrowful boy to turn to him.
"Listen Taehyung your stupid parents might hate you because you like guys and that you're not an A+ student. A perfect child is a child that can to the things the parents wish they did. And so what you're not a perfect child. I love you, for you so just smile Tae, I really miss that smile." Jimin bluntly says, his sharp anger faded into a low whisper, a voice full of sorrow.
"Jim-"
"I love you Tae, more than a goddamn friend."
To this Taehyung felt his whole world just stop, the feeling of Jimin's hands now moving away from his shoulders to his hips sent shivers through Taehyung.
"Jimin-" The younger began.
"I've always loved you."

This one shot is not the long ones I'm working on. I've been slightly avoiding them.
I'm just here to say one thing, I'm bisexual but my parents won't accept me so telling them will be a hassle. I based this one shot on the day Friday where I felt like absolute shit.
I'm sorry for the complete stupidly towards the meaning of this one shot but writing is one of my favorite things to do.
Enjoy. :D
