Two birds run through the forest carrying supplies. These consist of food, water, and other essentials for birds on a battlefield.
Akira_Raven: Apollo, keep up. We've too much work to do. (Apollo huffs and hops in the background, struggling to keep up.) These supplies won't get to the warriors unless someone takes them to them.
Apollo_Macaw: Yes, yes. Hey, what do you think is happening to the moon?
Akira_Raven: I don't know.
Apollo_Macaw: It didn't show up last night. And you made me get up at four!
Akira_Raven: Yes, that's because we had work to do. I woke you up because that's how early I would normally wake you up. The disappearance of the moon has nothing to do with being responsible for your own work.
Apollo_Macaw: But there is a creepy aura to the night without a moon!
Akira_Raven: Yeah, yeah, whatever you say. You're just paranoid!
Apollo_Macaw: Well, yeah? You don't get scared because you are a raven and ravens are evil, just like the night!
(Akira turns to snap at Apollo and stops short of losing her head.)
Akira_Raven: Apollo, get this through your head: I am no evil omen and I come from the village. I may be friends with Moonzshadow but that is because we met long ago and we had much in common. I work for my birds and I would have left but I love them too much! Now am I evil if I hold compassion and care in my heart? Now, shut up and stop nagging me!
Apollo_Macaw: (Under his breath) Even Carnage thinks you're a
Akira_Raven: (Trying to drop the subject) Whatever.
Apollo_Macaw: Akira?
Akira_Raven: What?
Apollo_Macaw: Do you think Moonzshadow is okay?
Akira_Raven: Yeah. She is strong and I know she can take care of herself. There's no reason to worry over your little crush.
Apollo blushes and they move on. A couple dozen minutes pass before Akira stops in her tracks and says gravely,
Akira_Raven: Apollo, do you think the moon is going to be alright?
Silence
~~~~~~~~~~~~Scene Change~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is early night. The sun lowers calmly with the orange of the dying sun. Clouds roll in somberly and heavily, leaving a trail of dark mist. Rain threatens to swallow the hollow and all the birds with it. Akira sits alone in an alcove of the council tree waiting for IcedSaphire to arrive. They had a meeting or perhaps more that they scheduled a time to hang out with each other once again. They had once been hatch mates, their mothers close friends, and spent what time they could together.
IcedSapphire_Snowy Owl: (Flies into the alcove and breathes deeply and ruffles her feathers, waves then lands after this line) Akira!! Dang, I barely got past the royal guard.I'm suppose to go to a royal ball with all the other royal owl families of other kingdoms. I'm not doing that(laughs)I mean what if my father wanted me to marry someone gross! I'm sorry I've been rambling on about silly problems. How have you've been Akira?
Akira_Raven: Oh, IcedSaphire! I have been alright. And you? The day seems cold, doesn't it? Oh, I hope it was no trouble getting past the royal guard, I mean, it is you.
IcedSapphire_SnowyOwl: I've been well. And no it was no problem at all getting past. I have to admit they are getting faster though. Not enough to catch up to me though(laughs). I have to say you sent me that feather message quite urgently. Is something wrong?
