There was a cave of wolves, lone wolves which was raided centuries past. A large pack of badgers attacked the forest and killed all the inhabitants. Two of these important packs were the Nightshade Wolves and the Clover Foxes. In their place stands a legend. A legend of loneliness and of strength in the strongest storms. Three hundred years later these wolves and foxes were reincarnated as birds. What bird will you be?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A giant oak tree resides in the middle of a flowering meadow. A river flows with crystal clear water nearby. This is the Meadow of the Song, for it is the meeting place of many different species of birds, all from different flights of life. If any where to travel through this plant filled place they would hear the almost constant chatter of those within the tree's branches and be mesmerized as a sailor is with the Song of Sirens. The traveler will no doubt explore the Meadow and perhaps even wish to stay.
Akira_Raven: Hey, MoonzShadow, how's the moon flight lessons going?
MoonzShadow_Red-tailed Hawk: *Hidden in the shadows of the leaves* They're going great. Pretty easy, just have to get used to less gravity.
Akira_Raven: Great. I wish I was as talented a flyer as you are. Do you ever get tired of flying? I get tired of sitting here in the forest. I love the air but I think too much of it would get annoying.
MoonzShadow_Red-tailed Hawk: No, flying will always be amazing. I am not going back to the moon though. I shall be living else where now.
Apollo_Macaw: Hey everyone!
Akira_Raven: Hi.
MoonzShadow_Red-tailed Hawk: *ignores Macaw* Raven, how is the forest going?
Akira_Raven: Well, I believe. Collecting food is the same as always and you know how the adults are. I hate having to listen to them day in and day out. I know how to perform sentry duty and I DON'T need them reminding me.
Apollo_Macaw: What's so bad about the forest?
MoonzShadow_Red-tailed Hawk: If you really do dislike being in the forest with your flock, you could just leave. Why have attachments to annoying birds that constantly nag at you? But then again, it's just the way some live. I however don't have such patience for others. I much prefer a lone flight.
Akira_Raven: MoonzShadow, I can't just leave everyone. I have too many responsibilities. You can't ask me to leave all of the little birdies I watch. would be crushed if I left. I am surprisingly content with my life in the village. My flock is great, it's just that I don't need to be ordered to do my job when I'm doing it. ............ How is life as a free spirit?
MoonzShadow_Red-tailed Hawk: Hmm... perhaps. It is going quite well, I am ordered by no one and have no silly attachments to others. I am free to do as I wish and fly in the sky anywhere. Though on the other hand it gets quite lonely. I don't need company though, I'm perfectly fine.
Akira_Raven: Then what company am I?
MoonzShadow_Red-tailed Hawk: Not really company or at least not one with me constantly. We meet here in this meadow every now and then. But it feels as if we are still but strangers, in a way. We each have separate lives, different experiences. No one can ever completely understand another, even if you speaked, lived, or knew them for all of their life. So I hope you can forgive me for my tone, but I do not believe any to be true company.
Akira_Raven: Oh.
Apollo_Macaw: Akira, don't let her get you down. She's just a lonely bird whose heart has turned cold. Whatever she says you're still great in your way as she in hers. Please, MoonzShadow give her a break. I'll fly with you so how about you take a break?
