Chapter 11: The Quirks of Life

Carnage flies around her amusement park, fixing and placing things. Just coming out from the "House of Horror", she notices some crows atop the gazebo in the park's garden.

Carnage_Owl Finch: Hello. May I ask what ya 3 crows be doing here?

Crows_Crow: (crow #1 speaks) Oh you mean us. *laughs* We're here to take over this dump. So it's best you leave, or else bad things will come your way. In fact, I will personally guide your spirit to the afterlife. So be gone *throws some pebbles at Carnage* this is our place now, as will other places in this world.

Carnage_Owl Finch: If you think you can make me leave your wrong, so piss off.

The crow chases Carnage. She leads them into the "House of Horror", thus making them lose sight of her.

Crows_Crow: (crow#2) It's strange in here. What's this place called? (crow #3) How would I know I was focused on following that pesky little bird. (crow #1) All of you stop arguing. Lets find our meal, before she escapes.

The crows go deeper into the Horror attraction, soon coming across the maze of mirrors. The door closes behind them.

Crows_Crow: (crow #1) Great, now we're stuck in here. All because of you dimwits. (crow #2) Us, you're the one that lead us into here. (crow #3) Hey, do you think this mirror makes me look fat? (crow #2) *chuckles* No, thats how you normally look, it isn't a distortion mirror, just a regular one. (crow #3) Are you trying to say something. *pushes crow #2* You wanna go. I can beat your ass anytime of the day. (both crows launch at each other tossing and turning on the ground* (crow #1) *pulls them apart* We didn't come here to fight. We came here to kill that Owl Finch. (crows 2 & 3) Sorry, boss. Let's go get her.

The crows manage to find their way out. They however were not expecting what was awaiting them outside. Before them was a Scarecrow, it's sleeves blowing in the wind. It's head turned to look at them. The three of them were shaking in fear.

Crows_Crow: (crow #1) It's just a stick with hay there's no need to afraid. Let's find that bird.

Carnage_Owl Finch: (inside the Scarecrow) *in a male voice* Just a STICK with HAY! HAHAHAhaha! I eat crows as foolish as you for breakfast.

Crows_Crow: AH! (crow #2) Don't eat us. (crow #3) Yes, we'll do anything, anything at all. (crow #1) *nods head in agreement*

Carnage_Owl FInch: Very well, you must leave this place and never come back. And you must swear to never eat or hurt Owl Finch's. Am I CLEAR!?

Crows_Crow: (crow #1) Crystal clear. We will leave. And I swear not to eat a Owl Finch or even hurt it. (crows 2 & 3) We swear as well.

(The crows fly off as fast as they can, not even one glancing back. Carnage comes out from the crow, laughing.)

Carnage_Owl Finch: Oh by the Sky! I can't believe that actually worked. *laughs rolling around on the floor, then stands up* Well that was fun. Those crows won't be coming back anytime soon. Hm.... what was I doing before? Oh, yes I was just about to go to the kingdom! I heard a Robin was selling a bunch of neat things, for she's moving into another nest. I wonder why? Oh yes. I remember, the canary that told me of her, told me that the Robin's roommate, a Blue-eyed Cockatoo, had accidently burned part of their house down. Or are they just merchants, maybe I got it all confused, after all the canary wasn't talking to me, but maybe they have something I can give to Akira for her hatchlings.

Carnage is rearranging things in her amusement park, placing stuffed animals where they go, turning gears, and sorting snacks. Akira sees her and lands next to the pile of things. Carnage soon returns to her pile, and seeing Akira, stays.)
