IF THERE WAS one thing that Violet could wish for at this moment that wasn't far fetched; it would be for her to be driving her own car rather than sitting in the backseat of a rather old, practically rotting Chevy Impala.

Violet's description of the car hadn't exactly made her Dean's biggest fan, but it wasn't her fault. The impala was noisy and Violet's car was practically silent, you could barely hear the engine when she drove unlike with the impala. The blonde was sure that the impala's engine could be heard from a twenty mile radius, yet another one of her sarcastic comments which had earned her a glare from Dean.

On the bright side, Sam seemed to find the entire conversation funny which meant that Violet had struck some brownie points with him.

After Violet had explained to both Sam and Dean what had happened to Jackson and herself, the two men had decided that it would be in their best interests if Violet were to stay with them for a little while rather than with Ellen at least until they got a grasp on what was happening. It was obvious that the demons had been there to kill her, they just didn't know why but they were determined to find out.

Violet hadn't answered all of the Winchester's questions, but they were willing to let a few of them slide for now; purely because the girl had been through a lot and they couldn't risk emotionally hurting her any more. But sooner or later Violet was going to have to share all of her secrets with the Winchester's whether she wanted to or not.

The brothers were just glad that Violet was speaking to them. Ellen had explained that she had trouble with getting Violet to talk to her, but the moment the two Winchester's arrived, Violet seemed more or less fine. And so they were off.

Apparently, Sam and Dean had to pay a visit to one of their close friends, Bobby Singer; who was currently in the hospital after an accident had left him wheelchair bound. Violet felt bad for Bobby, she'd met him a few times throughout her relationship with Jackson and he was a nice guy. A lot of the time he was rather moody and bitter, and he always seemed to be drinking, but deep down his solid hard exterior; Bobby was a good man.

After driving for hours on their journey to meet Bobby, Sam had gotten a call from the man himself saying that he had a case for them. Sam accepted it which apparently only seemed to anger Dean but Violet couldn't seem to understand why. After all the two brothers were hunters. Surely they were supposed to accept and solve cases. However, Violet soon came to understand exactly why Dean was so angry with Sam.

Whilst the two brothers argued over the case, Violet simply sunk lower and lower into the backseat of the impala, her cheeks red hot from how awkward and embarrassed she was with the entire situation the blonde couldn't stand knowing that she was the reason why they were arguing.

"We can't accept that case, Sam. So you go on ahead and call Bobby, and you tell him that we can't help him with this."

"Why not Dean? This is what we do. Plus, Bobby seemed concerned. We owe him that much, Dean."

"I understand that, Sam. But we've already got a case."

Upon finishing his sentence, the older Winchester took a quick look in the mirror at a rather silent and embarrassed Violet who seemed unsure of what to say about the situation.

"What Violet?" Sam retorted, "She's barely a case, Dean."

"She is now." Dean said sternly and Sam couldn't help but roll his eyes at his older brother. "Listen, she's stuck with us for a while and we can't bring her along for this case. Hell, we can't bring her with us to any case. Not until we figure out what's happening with her."
