BEING IGNORED IS one of the worst feelings in the world. Being ignored by someone you care so deeply for makes it even worse.

From the moment that Violet had woken up in the morning, Dean had ignored her. The blonde was saddened by this but she understood why Dean was so angry with her. He was frustrated and trying to make a point to her. All in all, he was being stubborn, a typical trait of a Winchester.

Sam had noticed the tension between the two and had subtly asked Violet what had happened during the night. The blonde brushed the question off and Sam dropped the subject, knowing better than to keep pestering the woman. If she wanted to talk, she would.

They'd all just arrived in Carthage, Missouri, where they'd been told Lucifer would be for the day. The town was odd and eerily quiet. They hadn't seen anyone walking about on the streets. The shops and houses were empty; it was almost as if the entire town had been abandoned.

Ellen, Jo and Castiel had stayed in the centre of the city to see if they could find someone to shed light on what was happening whilst Sam, Dean and Violet had gone to the local police department. Just as they'd assumed, it was empty. When the three returned to the centre of the city they had been reunited with Ellen and Jo but Castiel had gone missing. The Angel had said something about there being dozens of reapers and wanted to find out why they were there. A long while had passed and Castiel still hadn't returned which led everyone to believe he'd been found by demons or Lucifer himself.

The sound of footsteps and an unfamiliar voice rang in Violet's head. The blonde, alongside the rest of the hunters, turned round to see who it was that had appeared.

"There you are." A young woman said with a cheery tone to her voice. The moment that Sam and Dean locked eyes with her, both men began to glare at the woman.

"Meg." Sam said with an ice cold tone to his voice.

Meg began to tut at the hunters in disapproval and slowly began to shake her head. "Shouldn't have come here boys."

"Hell, I could say the same thing for you." Dean growled before raising the colt in the air. He had the gun perfectly positioned before the woman's head and had he of shot her right then, she would've dropped to the ground; dead.

"Didn't come here alone, Deano."

The sound of a puddle splashing made all the hunters look towards it. Oddly enough, there was nothing there but the sound of dogs growling and barking made everyone stiffen in fear. But whilst no one else could see the creatures in the puddle, Violet could and they were absolutely terrifying.

"They look like evil dogs." The blonde said quietly.

Violet had read about demonic dogs in a book a few weeks ago but she couldn't remember what they were actually called — hence why she'd referred to them as evil dogs. Dean's brows raised at Violet's comment and the blond man looked straight at her to find that her eyes were fixated on the creatures standing in the puddles. It was then when Dean realised that Violet could see the creatures, unlike him and the others.

"Hellhounds." Dean somewhat corrected Violet and the blonde nodded. This was the first time Dean had spoken to her today and it still didn't particularly count as he was mainly talking to Meg, not her.

"Yeah, Dean. Your favourite!" The dark haired woman taunted the man, making him glare at her in rage. "Come on, boys. My father wants to see you." Meg's eyes flickered over to Violet and she smiled. "He won't mind seeing you either, angel."

Meg's comment made everyone turn to look at Violet in confusion. Ellen and Jo seemed more confused than shocked, whilst Sam and Dean didn't know how to react. Hell, they didn't even know what to say.
