"HOW COULD YOU just disappear like that? You didn't even tell Bobby that you were leaving, you just got up and left!" Dean began to yell at Violet who sat quietly on the edge of the bed, reusing to look the older Winchester in the eyes.

It turned out that Castiel had taken Violet to the motel that Sam and Dean were staying at two towns over from Sioux Falls. Violet was going to make her way inside the hotel when she heard the familiar rumble of the impala's engine and cursed to herself. Before she knew it, Dean had jumped out of the car and wrapped his arms around her. She'd been slow to return the hug but when she finally had, Dean moved away and started scolding her for leaving Bobby without even letting him know where she was going or whether she was okay.

After realizing that people were staring at Dean for scolding Violet in the middle of the street, the two, and Sam, had gone inside their motel room to continue the conversation. As Dean continued to tell Violet that what she'd done was bad and had worried him and Sam, the younger Winchester had managed to quietly leave the motel - leaving Violet alone with an outraged and overly concerned Dean.

"You must've known that Sam and I were going to worry. I mean, you were gone for a day Violet. You just disappeared out of nowhere. And then when I tried to call Cas, he didn't show up either. Were you with him?"

"You sound like an overprotective boyfriend." Violet muttered, completely ignoring Dean's question and making him furrow his eyebrows in disbelief.

Dean had managed to hear Violet's comment, despite her lowering her voice when she said it. The older Winchester cast the blonde a glare and shook his head in disbelief, "Can you blame me for being overprotective? You hardly talk to me, you hardly talk to Sam. Heck, I know that you're keeping secrets from me, but I don't want to pressure you into telling me things. But I can't deal with you disappearing and not even letting me know that you're okay!" Dean continued to shout.

Violet kept her eyes glued to the floor and frowned, guilt beginning to eat away at her insides. She hadn't thought about the effect that her actions could have on Sam and Dean. In all honesty, she didn't realize that Dean cared so much about her – despite the situation they were in and how guilty Violet felt, she couldn't help but feel flattered at the same time. It felt nice to know that someone cared about her; especially with Castiel's revelations from earlier.

Thinking back to the conversation only made Violet even sadder. She'd kept her feelings bottled up for so long that now she was finally letting them loose, she was overemotional. The blonde hadn't even noticed that she'd started to cry until Dean knelt down beside her and titled her head upwards so that she was looking up at him.

"Violet, hey. I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry." Dean quickly apologized upon realizing that he'd upset her, his deep green eyes filled with sadness as he watched the girl sob quietly on the bed.

The last thing that Dean wanted to do was upset Violet. He only wanted for her to know how much she'd worried him and Sam so that she wouldn't do it again. It was never his intention to upset her and the fact that he'd managed to do so had upset him dearly. He was just worried about her.

"Vi, please don't ignore me. I'm sorry, I was just worried. I thought that something bad had happened to you and Sam and I didn't know what to do." Dean quickly began to explain the reason behind his behavior change.

Violet wiped away a few of the tears on her face and flashed Dean a small smile. It wasn't Dean that had upset her but rather Castiel and everything that he had revealed to her earlier. Violet didn't want Dean to feel as though he was the one that had upset her.

"It's not you that's upset me, Dean."

Dean couldn't help but feel slightly relieved and gave Violet a smile which was filled with relief. "Then what is it that's making you upset?"
