SAM AND DEAN WERE ON THEIR WAY TO NEBRASKA.
After Violet's phone call with Dean, the blonde had sent him a text on her whereabouts and she was currently waiting for them to arrive.
It had been a couple of hours and Violet hadn't heard anything from the Winchester's. She understood that it would take them a little while to get to her but they hadn't even called or texted to confirm that they'd left.
Violet was concerned — this wasn't like them. But then again, Dean was acting oddly on the phone. He was far too calm and he generally wasn't being himself.
The sound of a car noisily pulling up in the car park made Violet jump off of the sofa. She quickly ran over to the window and pulled the blinds open just a fraction. Her eyes squinted as she tried to see who it was that had just arrived.
The moment her eyes locked onto a familiar blond haired man, she smiled.
Violet wasted no time in running over to the door of the motel room. She pulled it open and found a smile growing on her face within seconds. The blonde was silent as she eagerly waited for Dean to walk over. She was surprised that Sam wasn't with his older brother but could only assume that he'd stayed in the car to give her and Dean some space and a bit of time alone.
Whilst waiting for Sam and Dean to arrive at the motel, Violet had come to a conclusion; she had to tell Dean everything.
Which meant that she'd have to tell him all of her secrets and how she truly felt about him — whether she wanted to or not. And Violet wanted to, she was just nervous about how he'd react.
The last thing that she wanted was to be rejected by Dean, especially as she cared for him so much.
As soon as Dean turned around and noticed Violet standing in the doorway, the blonde felt a knot form in her stomach. She instantly found herself looking at the ground as nerves began to eat away at her.
Her once confident demeanor had shattered within seconds.
Violet looked down at the ground in sadness. She hadn't realized that Dean had sped up until she noticed his shoes a couple of inches away from her own. At that, Violet looked up to find the blond man staring down at her with both happiness and frustration clearly evident in his eyes.
"Hey." He said quietly after an awkward silence. Violet flashed the older Winchester a small smile.
"Hey." She said with an even more quiet tone to her voice.
Violet bit down on her lip as she contemplated on what to do next. Her eyes ever so slowly traveled upwards to find that Dean had his eyes fixated on something behind her. The blonde looked over her shoulder to see what was fascinating him and Dean cleared his throat.
His attempt at brushing the exchange off didn't go unnoticed by Violet.
"Are you going to come inside?" Violet asked.
Dean looked at Violet and then at the door. He seemed hesitant on what to do and Violet noticed. He was acting strange and she didn't like it. But then again, she had no right to call him out for acting weirdly.
"Why don't we just get going?" The older Winchester suggested.
His question was so sudden and unexpected, almost as if he didn't know he was going to ask it himself. Violet shrugged her shoulders.
"We can, I guess. I just need a few minutes to pack my things, that's why I was asking if you wanted to come inside."
Dean aimlessly shrugged his shoulders. "I'll wait in the car for you."
