Selection 10: "My Unknown Wish Of Reality?"

[Poloagma's POV]

My feet landed on the ground, and I listened to the harsh growls come from around me. My body shook with rage as I felt like I had been cheated out of something amazing, something different. What if I could reenact all of it? What if I could make that a reality, and I could see what becomes of me and Madiline. What if-

"SIRE!" I felt as someone bit into my leg, but I hadn't my mind grasped. What the hell was I going to do? Would she take me like this, or...or was that my head? My unconscious dream? My unknown wish of reality? "MY GOD SNAP OUT OF IT! SIRE! PO-POLOAGMA!"

My head popped up, and I grabbed Hideous by the throat growling with my teeth bared, "NEVER EVER!-HURT MY RABBIT!" I threw Hideous to the ground, and listened to the cracking of his back, with his shriek of pain. My ears twitched to the sound of Romeo's cry for his son, and as he ran to him, I yanked at his tail, throwing him in mid-air. He crashed into a tree, and Hideous whimpered for him. I walked to Hideous, about to tear open his stomach when Madiline screamed, "NO! STOP THIS! HE DIDN'T HURT ME, ONLY THE OTHER ONE! UNTIE ME SIRE!"

I walked to where Madiline was held, and wrapped my arm around her thighs right under her bum, and sliced the vine, feeling her weight fall on me. She quickly pushed me away, and fell to the ground, crawling to Hideous. She closed her eyes tight, and recited something unknown to even me. A language unique to all man and animal kind, and I watched as the dust from the ground started crawling over Hideous' mangled body, and the light of the moon literally moved to his body. The entire cold air instantly grew warm, and Madiline's hair started to sway around in the air, as if we were under water, though we could each breathe normally.

Pressure immediately started to form in my chest, and I watched as each of us started panting for air, with every second and breath. Madiline was slowly falling to the ground, and I tried crawling to her, but it was as if there was an invisible weight on me. Despite her weariness coming like a time bomb, her mouth kept moving until Hideous' entire body was covered entirely of dirt, and Romeo hollered out for him. Out of no where, there was a huge ray of light, and with a flash-the covering of eyes from blinding rays-and sand being tossed off Hideous who was gasping for air, and was now a new human man. What the hell did she do?

The body of the young man immediately clung together in a ball, and shivered ferociously. "It's okay..." Madiline said nearly dead. "Everything..is...alrigh-...." Her eyes shut completely, and I quickly scrambled to her, holding her tightly. I gave the boy Madiline's red hood to cover himself, and Hideous gladly took it.

"What happened to him?" Romeo asked me grunting, and crawled next to me.

"That's none of your concern. Don't you remember? Your already dead." I stabbed my fingers threw his eyes, hearing him roar in pain, and as he threw himself back, I got him in the heart. His body went limp instantly, and I let him bleed out seeing Hideous shaking in fear. "Do you understand me boy? I'm not going to lay a finger on you, as long as you don't lay a finger on her. Come on, we need to go."

I stood up, and started walking back, and once town was in eye sight, I put Madiline on my tail, and held onto her hands to keep her balanced on me. Hideous followed me fearfully, and once we were back into the motel room, I looked around. My god we had nothing here of use. I had to get us new clothes, medical supplies, food, water, everything. Could I trust him with her?

I let out a deep breath betting that wolf left right away as she heard me walk in that trap. Didn't even bother to help out a little, just ran like the mutt she was.

I grabbed the hood from Hideous, and put it on the bed laying Madiline down, and swaddled her in it. I gave the blanket to Hideous, and said, "I'm going into town, you better not hurt her. If you do, I'll kill you like I did Romeo. Nod if you understand me."
