[Madiline's POV]
I swallowed getting up from the ground, they were dragging his carcass to the cellar to rot. I couldn't help feeling ashamed for what happened here. It was cruel, yes the wolves tormented us all, but once the rest died off and he was the only one left, he didn't mess with us unless we taunted him first.
I bowed my head down to the wolf that once was, and gave him a prayer to rest in peace. He was going to need it.
I gasped dramatically! He was alive! His chest was moving-He was alive! Then, reality hit me. He was alive now... No, he should of stayed dead! I don't want to continue this, he should of stayed dead!
I couldn't help feeling my chest starting to close up as I coughed and gasped for air, I felt strong arms grab onto me, and Heath whispered in my ear soothingly, "Shhh, it's okay Madiline. I'm here to protect you. Just breathe easy, in-out-in-out."
Heath rocked me gently back and forth, and sung softly in my ear, "Just close your eyes, the sun is going down-you'll be alright, no one can hurt you now-come morning light! You and I'll be safe and..sound."
[Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift Feat. Civil Wars]My breathing eased as I grasped on to Heath. "I-I need to...rest." Then, my eyes drifted close with my head bowing.

The view of an unfamiliar room came into my sight immediately, and I looked around. I saw a picture of Arianna and Heath with their father on the nightstand next to me, and let out a breath of ease. I was safe, for now. No, I had to get wolf away from here. I had to go with him no matter what.I swallowed and walked to the window, opening the blinds. It was nightfall, the clock told me 3:49 AM. Everyone should be at rest by now, in other words-this was my only chance if his life still remained.
I put on a black dress I found in the closet that held gorgeous white ruffles on top. My red hood was still around me, and with that...I kissed this town Goodbye. I was to be now and forever, forgotten.
I climbed out the window, and ran down the road as fast as I could, never once stopping. That is, until the entrance to the cellar was in my viewing. The entrance looked like a small cubed building with a door on it. No light was let in, and no light was let out. No one for sure knew what was in the cellar, but what we did know, was that it was anything but (a cellar).
I walked a long distance around the tiny building, and saw four guards on every side. I took in a deep breath, then whispered, "Forgive me, Master. For my training will not be as we once believed." And with that, I walked back to the old hut in the village, that held all the witch craft potions, weapons, and spells. With these things, I should be invincible enough to get out of here with Wolf.
I sprinted to the hut as quietly as possible, and once I did, Gona appeared to me threw the darkness. She spoke a unknown language to me, and I nearly screamed as all the candles in the room lit up with a blood red light, that matched the color of my hood.
"What do you think you are doing fool?" She asked me with a growl in her voice.
"I'm sorry Gonay, I have to do this. If I leave right now the wolf will come with me. He has no more power Gona, if I take him out right now then no one will get hurt. All this work will had been for something." With that said, I quickly scanned through all the bottles, reading each different meaning and grabbed five, then held one small spell book with a jar of fox blood to preform a ceremony if needed. Each was put into my basket I normally carried for bread, and I walked to the plant section, grabbing the herbs book. My attention went to the gloves on the table, along with rags, and I went to that. It would definitely come in handy. With that done, I turned back to Gonaybilly.
