It's been three days since I last saw Alex with Tyler. Damon, Lucy and some other demons that knew Henry have left two days ago to scatter his ashes. I was the one who had to break the news to the press that there wasn't going to be a coronation anytime soon. Someone called me lame and stupid then walked off. I told him to get a life, but apart from that there weren't any complaints. They all probably just want a day off anyway.
Www
I'm bored out of my mind right now. I haven't left Alex's side since..that's a point I don't actually know what day it is. Monday? Friday? It could be Saturday for I know. Do you know what the date is? Nope. I don't even know what the time is either or the month. Great. Another mystery I have to solve. This place was going to be the death of me...literally. I wanted to go with Damon, but he told me I had to stay here and babysit Alex to make sure that when he wakes up he doesn't screw up anything. Those were his words exactly.

I was afraid to try and talk to Alex in case Tyler replied back instead. It was the same with touching him. I so badly wanted to slap across the face and wake me up, but what if I saw Tyler's eyes? What would I do then? I sighed for the millionth time this evening. Everyone was convinced that Tyler would win this internal battle with his demon, however I knew Alex would pull through this somehow. At least I hope he does for everyone's sake, having Tyler as King would not be good at all. Come on Alex, open your eyes for me. Please.

This better not be some sick, twisted joke of Alex's, but from what I've seen I don't think it's a joke. Alex would never joke around something as serious as this. If he doesn't wake up then I might have lost my best friend forever. That can not happen! No whizz in hell am I letting that happen now after everything that's happened. I winced when I straightened down my arm. The doctors were torturing me, making me do these stupid bloody exercises. I hate the world!

Suddenly, I saw Alex's hand begin to twitch. This body was shaking as he grimaced at something. His breathing became short and sharp as he continued to pull faces. I waited on tender hooks to find out who was going to wake up. C'mon Alex. Get a move on because I need a piss badly. I didn't dare leave in case I came back to Tyler. Why didn't I go yesterday? Because we thought this was going to happen yesterday! Good point Dylan.

His eyes fluttered open to reveal only white sockets. I screamed like a little girl. Jumping back, I scrambled over to the door. I threw it open and slammed the door behind me. Quickly, I leant against it to stop it from coming through. That wasn't Alex! I don't think that was Tyler either. It doesn't look like him. He has grey eyes. And Alex has black. Exactly.

Then what was that?

Damon's p.o.v

I felt a tingle go down my spine. He has woken up, but who's in charge? I don't know. It's all blurry and foggy. What do you mean you can't see him?! I never said that. All I'm saying is that maybe he might be the...you know...I don't want to say it. What you don't want to jink him? Yes! You really believe in all of that superstitious nonsense? It's not nonsense! You wouldn't understand. Don't pout Noah. It's not natural for a demon to do that. Sorry.

Looking over at a group of Henry's friends, of whom I've never seemed before, I whispered "Amen." to myself. The grass was soaked in morning dew. Henry and Lola's gravestones sparkled in the sunlight, after I had meant god knows how many hours scrubbing them clean.

Benjamin was around my age. He's was Henry's 'closest' friend according to then all. Personally, I didn't trust the green eyed devil. His skin wasn't scaly like mine. It was black and silkly. Never in my entire resistance have I ever seen a demon with skin like his. Also another reason why I don't trust him. His fiery hair made him look like a torch in my opinion.
