This song is called Friends never say goodbye by Elton John. (I can't own it!) It represents the final scene a lot and I'm sorry if you consider it a spoiler, but you don't know what happens yet...I could be bluffing or doing a double bluff!

Anyway, read on to find out what fate has in store for the two half human, half demon peoples! xD

What happened? Where am I? I looked around me to see I was back in the basement again. Feeling the mattress beneath me, I stared at the closed door. What's going on? Where's Phil? Why am I in the basement on my own? Where are the others?

Tyler. What's happened? Tyler! He wasn't answering me for some reason. I looked around the room again, just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Wait, no...I had to be dreaming. This wasn't happening. I have not dreamt all of that! It's not possible.

I hate the dark. My breathing became short and quick. Why is this happening to me? I'm not in the basement. I can't be in the basement!

Suddenly, the door was flung open to reveal my mother standing in the doorway. She cast a shadow upon the stairs. I furrowed my brow. What's mother doing here? Isn't she supposed to be dead?

"What have I told you about waking me up early in the morning? Look at the dirt you've dragged into the house! When will you stop messing around with those dirtbags?" She kept asking me, hurting my head. I don't know why.

"I'm sorry about the carpet mother. I didn't mean to wake you up, I was hungry." I defended myself, knowing what was going to happen. She stormed down the stairs. I saw father walk in after her, but he stopped half way down the stairs, as she carried on walking towards me. I gulped. She started swatting me around the head.

"Father! Tell her it was an accident! Please!" I cried out, feeling the pain build up. Rolling onto my side, I curled myself up into a ball. She kicked my spine, making me want to cry. I arched my spine and hissed. She then began to punch my stomach repeatedly. Meanwhile father kept watching me. He stared at me, while she was beating me. Father let her beat me. He didn't stop her. She wouldn't let it end.

"Alex!" I looked up to see Phil trapped in the walls. They were now transparent. He was slamming his fist against the glass. I wanted to break the glass and let him in, but I was too busy being beaten. He was trying his best to get to me. I glanced from Phil to my father.

Without warning, my mother stopped. She stared at me as her skin turned to grains of sand. I reached out to her, but she was blown away by the wind. My blood turned to ice. I was so cold without her. Phil broke through the glass and ran to me. I wanted to cry, but I couldn't let Phil or my father see me cry. Not now my mother was gone.

I stood up and Phil gave me a pat on the back. He smiled, which made me smile. The next thing I knew we were in school. Vincent and Keith were beating someone to a pulp. Phil walked over to them and stopped the fighting. He then ran away, leaving the boy on his own. I wondered over to see who the boy was. My heart was racing, when I saw it was me.

Time seemed to stand still. The darkness consumed me again. I was back in the basement. What's happening to me? Where's Phil? He was right by my side, but now he's gone. That was when I noticed my father was on the stairs. He hadn't moved. I was on the mattress again, however my arms were covered in scars as well as my legs.

I started to cry for the first time since I had woken up. My father ran to me and we embraced for a while, until I remembered earlier. I tried to push him away, but he kept holding on to me. Then I heard a gun shot. I wanted to hold on to him, although he fell backwards onto the floor.
