Allison's POV:

I stared at the two idiotic creeps standing in front of me, fighting over me.

I've never experienced that before, not ever since high school. It was one of my close friends, Edgar and of course, Edgar's opponent was

Him.

...

I sat on the foot of my bed, dangling my legs as I rested my head on my sweaty palms.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting Edgar to win for my heart. But I wasn't expecting him to win as well.

Who would know he would win my heart in the end? Who would know I would say yes to his proposal? Who would know I would be his girlfriend for a long 2 years,

And counting.

But, he promised me. He promised me he would come back and visit, didn't he?

Flashback:

"Are you sure? You'll come back for me?" I asked hopeful, tears welled up in my eyes. He cupped my face and took a step closer to me. My breath hitched, and my heart rate increased steadily. "I promise, Allie. I'll come back, I promise." He smiled, reassuring me. "Bye.." I whispered, waving as he took his duffel bag and sadly climbed into the bus. "Bye, Allie."

End.

I sighed and raked my hand through my dark brown hair, just as a soft 'beep' escapes from my phone.

I sigh and shake my head. So first, it's my complicated relationship with him. Then, I have to deal daily with two creeps at college. Yup, like what they all say,

I'm definitely living the college life.
