"Lumayas ka! Doon ka matulog sa sofa, I don't want you here," sigaw ni Destiny at hinagis kay Bryan ang unan at kumot.
The door slammed in his face.
Naglakad si Bryan papunta sa sofa at umupo. He took out his phone and started dialing. It took five rings bago may sumagot. "Hi, Bryan. Busy ako," it was Regie, he could hear someone giggling on the background.
"Pinalayas ako ni Des sa kwarto e," Bryan said.
"Intindihin mo na lang, alam mo naman naglilihi. Maseselan ang mga buntis. Ano ba ginawa mo?"
"She asked me to buy green mango. Nakalimutan ako kasi eh. Ayon nagalit. May alam kang nagtitinda ng mangga?"
"Meron ako dito sa bahay. Gusto mo?" he started gigling.
Lumiwanag ang mukha ni Bryan." Seriously? Sige pupunta ako dyan," binaba na nito ang cellphone.
Dali-daling kinuha ni Bryan ang susi ng kotse at dumeresto sa bahay ni Regie. Pagkarating sa tapat ng gate, he pushed the door bell impatiently.
"Andyan na, hindi makapag-antay," ani Regie at binuksan ang gate. Nakatapis ito ng tuwalya at dala-dala ang isang plastic ng mangga. "Busy ako ha, Istorbo ka," ibinigay ito kay Bryan.
"Thank you so much talaga. If you need anything, andito lang ako," he said.
"Baby, bilisan mo dyan!" narinig nilang sigaw sa loob ng bahay.
Regie blushed. "Right now, I need privacy. Bye," wika nito bago isinarado ang gate.
Pagdating sa bahay, he knocked on their bedroom. "Honey, please open the door," he begged at tahimik lang sa loob. "I'm really sorry," he continued pero wala paring sumasagot. He decided to choose his last resort. "Andito na 'yong mangga," and like magic, unti-unting bumukas ang pintuan. He gave his best smile at ibinigay ang mangga.
Nakikita niyang lumiwanag ang mukha ni Des. "Thank you honey. Tulog ka na sa loob," yaya ni Des and she kissed him on the lips.
Habang kinukuha ni Bryan ang kumot at unan sa sofa, lumabas naman si Des papunta sa kusina at nagbalat ng mangga. Pagkabalik nito, nakahiga na si Bryan sa kama at fast asleep. While Des sat on the bed, kissed her husband good night and started eating.
After college, saka lang nagpakasal ang dalawa. Right now they have stable job and a baby coming soon. Their marriage may not be always happy and not perfect but for them they are perfect for each other and that is enough.
Al and Maja, still is currently on the bridge of their divorce. Alam ng dalawa na hindi talaga nila mahal ang isa't-isa ngunit pinagpatuloy parin nila ang kanilang wedding, for the sake of their careers but still didn't work out for them.
The clock started to make a sound when it strikes 12 midnight. "Happy 3rd wedding anniversary," she whispered and kissed him passionately, na nagpagising kay Bryan.
"Honey," he moaned. "Happy Anniversary."
