I woke up because of the loudest noise I've ever heard and it's giving me a headache.

I reached out to the alarm clock beside the table and throw it on the wall, wala na akong pakialam kung magkano ang ipapabayad ng hotel sa akin. I groaned out loud because the headache is still there and the sunlight is blinding me. Kaya tumayo ako para isara ang kurtina, that's when I notice I was naked. I sat on the bed and started thinking what happened last night and how did I get in my hotel room. I can only remember bits of pieces, pero may isang bagay na gumugulo sa isip ko that's when I noticed something in my bed that caught my attention. And everything is crystal clear...

Destiny

Dahan-dahan kong binuksan ang pintuan sa hotel room ko at sinilip sa loob. I don't want on walking to something R-18, baka masira ang future ko. Everything seems clear at mukhang walang tao sa loob. So I entered slowly when someone spoke. "Someone is walking the walk of shame," wika ni Regie na naka-upo sa may mesa.

"What? What are you talking about?" patay-malisya kong tanong.

He rolled his eyes. "I'm not stupid Des. Look at you, your hair is a mess and baliktad ang t-shirt mo."

I immediately looked at my shirt. Hindi naman baliktad. "No it's not."

"But still, tiningnan mo parin. Ibig sabihin may possibility na baliktad nga ito. So, who's the guy?" tanong niya.

Nagdalawang isip akong umupo sa kama, baka kung ano pang organisms ang makuha ko doon sa ginawa ni Regie. So I sat infront of him. "Ganoon ba ako ka obvious? It was just some stranger I meet last night. A random one night stand."

He starred at me. I know it's a stupid lie. He knew too well. "Come on Destiny. You and I both know you're a virgin at hinding-hindi mo lang basta ibibigay iyon sa isang random stranger. I also know that kahit first love mo si Al, you are not desperate enough to give yourself to a guy who is engaged to someone else." he said.

I sigh.

"Don't tell me si... Oh my god!" he exclaimed.

"Is it that bad?"

"Oh my god! Si Bryan? Well... Finally!" masayang sigaw ni Regie.

"I know! Wait... What?"

"Well, I've always known both of you are gonna end up together, one way or another. Hindi ko lang expect na ganito ang way para mangyari noh! So, congratulations?" he said and smiled.

"What?! Walang congratulations. It was a one time thing and I'm pretty sure he won't remember anything anyway. So please can you keep it a secret. Ayokong maging awkward kami, he is still my bestfriend." paliwanag ko.

He rolled his eyes. "Listen girl. Look at me, I am your bestfriend. Magchildhood friend lang kayo that doesn't count as besties. Because I know things that he doesn't and ang mga bagay na 'yon only me as your bestfriend knows. Okay?"

Regie is right. Kahit ano pang isipin ko, hindi na maibabalik ang pagkakaibigan namin. He may not remember what happened, but I'll always will. Everytime that I would see him, it would always brings me back to the most amazing night that ever happened to me. I will always feel the pain.

"Whatever. Basta this is the last day of our vacation anyway at nahanap na namin si Ruby which is a good thing," I dismissed.

"I hope you're choosing the right thing girl. I'm always here for you okay." he stood up and hugged me tight.

It took all of my strength para lang makayanan na umalis sa kwarto ni GB. Pinaghalong saya at lungkot ang aking naramdaman pagkagising sa tabi niya but never regrets. If there is someone who would I love for the rest of my life it's him. It doesn't matter if it is one-sided. I love him and it's all that matters.
