“…Now what are we going to do –“

“Hey, isn’t that Ame—“

“BITCH,” I yelled out, releasing my inner anger as I sprinted to him. “YOU’RE GOING DOWN!”

And I tackled Zane down to the ground – football style.

------------------------------

I heard a surprised oomph sound coming out of Zane’s mouth as I roughly tackled him to the ground. I then heard a winced, hurt groan coming from him as we landed onto the hard cold tiled floor.

Ouch… for him.

Luckily, the only thing I felt pain in body was my shoulders and nowhere else. I guess falling on top of him made my landing much softer and well – not painful at all.

Mission accomplished, I thought to myself as I internally gave myself a big hi-five.

Quickly, I pushed myself up from him and with the advantage of me being on top and him at the bottom, I got my fist ready, ready to bash the crap out of him for what he’d done to me not just about the car, but also about the police incident too. Heck, maybe I should also add in everything else I’m angry at as well while I’m at it.

As I was about to come in contact with Zane’s face, his hand came out of nowhere and gripped my wrist tightly, stopping me from punching his face.

“What’s your god damn problem?” he growled at the same as I let out an ow sound out of my mouth. I tried snatching my wrist away from him but he held a firmer grip on it, minimizing the chances of me escaping to a big fat zero.

But I didn’t let that stop me. I still had my other hand to use. I clenched my other fist and straight away aimed it at his face but to my disappointment, he had caught my punch with his palm, just inches away from his face.

Dang it! What is this guy? Super Ass – I mean Super Man?

“…Come on, let’s go while he’s distracted…”

“…See, I told you she’ll do something spontaneous again.”

“Shouldn’t we sto—“

“No Johnny. If we stop them, Zane’s going kick our arses and we don’t—“

“Where the hell are you guys going?” Zane turned his head to his brothers who I’m guessing were trying to run away before Zane realised they were gone. I heard the shuffling of feet come to a stop and a few grumbles of words. With Zane still sustaining a grip onto my wrist and hand, he continued on saying, “Don’t you see this animal here who is trying to kill me?”

Wait… did he just call me… an… animal? He downgraded me to an animal?

“Did you just call me an animal?” My voice gradually seeped with anger. Zane snapped his head back at me and his face showed no fear. He was about to say something but someone had bet him to it and I looked at who did.

“Yeah Zane, did you just call her an animal?” One of his brothers, Adrian said.

Shortly after, his twin, Devin joined in. “Now that’s a little harsh Zane.” Devin said, mocking a disappointed expression. “No wonder you’re not popular with the ladies.” He made a ‘tsk tsk’ noise while Adrian shook his head slowly, also disappointed by Zane. “Oh, I know now!” Devin clicked his fingers and Adrian stopped moving his head.
