Chapter 28

*phone rings*

L: hi Joe
J: I was thinking. You don't have a place to live. Caspar and I have a spare bedroom. Our place is near your apprenticeship. Why not move in with me.
L: it makes sense. Are you sure?
J: your my girlfriend why not? I'll pick you this afternoon. Byeeeee

I was just about to answer and he hung up. Wow he must not want me to say no. I told Zoe and she helped me pack all my stuff.

I was waiting for Joe to pick me up, as usual he was late.

We were now setting my stuff up in the spare bedroom. Well I was. Caspar and Joe were just jumping on my bed.
"We need to do the room mate tag!" Caspar shouts.
"Lucy finish quickly come on we're doing it in your room, it needs christening" Joe said. He really needed to reword that sentence. Me and Caspar stared at him.
"I meant YouTube christening. Filming a video" he corrected. That sounded way better. I felt bad for Joe because he's older so he has more needs and I can't fulfill those needs. I'm not ready for it.

We were sat in front of a camera. I felt like a lunatic. I was sat in my PJ bottoms and a baggy knitted jumper.

"Hello everybody. This person right here has appeared in a couple of blogs before but never in an actual video" Joe said pointing at me.
"Care to introduce yourself" Caspar finished.
"I'm Lucy. Hi" I said waving at the camera. The boys noted and I just looked at them confused.
"What did I do wrong?" I asked them laughing.
"Nothing. Its just the way you said it" Caspar said.
"Anyway. You've probably noticed that the title of the video is the room mate tag. Which means Caspar's leaving" Joe shouted. Caspar looked fake hurt.
"Jks. Jaspar for lyfe" he said "but me and Caspar have a new roommate. Lucy" he said pointing at me. He nodded at Caspar and they both tackled me into a ginormous hug.

I got more into the video and once it was finished they uploaded it straight away since they didn't want it edited.

I was kind of scared. What if people don't like me?
"Don't worry about it" Joe said reading my mind, "everyone will like you and they don't know about us being a thing so don't worry about it there's nothing not to like about you" he said giving me a kiss.

I stayed up all night reading the comments on his video. Some were nice, some weren't.

Why does she live there? She's ugly.

Wtf? She tried too hard.

Bitch, I was gonna live with them.

I love her hair.

The nice ones made me smile. I let the subject go and went to sleep.
