Chapter 37

An: I am aware that I do month time skips. Just so everyone knows or the 6 of you who currently read this.

*Lucy's POV*

Its JUNEEEE. I absolutely love June. Its so summery. Although its that time of the year again where all famous YouTubers go to playlist. Which means Joe is leaving for a week. Its only a week I suppose. But he was leaving today.

"Lucy where are you? I need a kiss goodbye" Joe yelled from the top of the stairs. I ran up and jumped on him. He fell back slightly and I peppered his face with little kisses. I finally kissed him on the lips. It was a long meaningful kiss. He broke apart and looked into my eyes and pulled back a piece of my hair.
"I love you. You know that right" I said to her. "I love you too. Stay safe and try not to get injured while you get mobbed by hundreds of girls" I said the last bit jokingly.

He finally walked off and I stayed leaning on the door frame watching him leave. I'll miss you.

1 week later**

Ahhhhhh, Joe's coming home today. Yay. I looked at my phone and saw I had a message...from Joe.

Staying another 2 months. Love you
Joe x

Okay. Plot twist. 2 whole months. 2 fucking months. A text message as well. Classy Joe. Very classy. Didn't even say sorry. Looks like I'll be having a romantic meal for one tonight.

The notebook. I watched it 3 times tonight and I'm sat on the floor wrapped in a blanket bawling my eyes out. I am such a wimp.
Ring. Ring. Ring.
I picked up my phone and answered it. It was Zoe.

Z: hey did you hear about Joe. He is staying 2 months more. Are you alright?
L: yeah I'm fine. We're fine actually were better than we have ever been. He rings me every night and we face time and we....yeah we're fine.
Z: say it one more time and I'll believe you.
L: we're fine...
I said the last one and I hung up. They were all lies. As much as I hate to admit it, things weren't going great between me and Joe. We don't ring we don't text and we certainly don't face time. It's just crap. The whole situation is crap. Things are just spiralling downwards...rapidly.
