SOLANGE'S POV
I didn't follow the others when I should of. I could still sense someone in the ruins were alive, and suprisingly, I wasn't scared. I walked slowly towards the rubble, scanning it with my eyes.
"H-hello?" I asked, almost in a whisper. I heard someone cough and groan, obviously a male. I ran towards the rubble, and began removing pieces, something about him was driving me crazy. His scent... It was unique on so many levels. When I got to him, I gasped. His skin was pale, the cuts, bruises and burns that were healing on his face, somehow made him seem sexy. There was a smile on his face, although his eyes were closed. He inhaled and sighed, opening his eyes to look at me. They were black. I smiled at him, resisting the urge to touch his face. I began helping him out of the rubble, he just looked at me, smiling. I smiled back a few times, and helped him up once all the rubble was removed from him. We stood there, just looking at each other in silence. His eyes scanned down my body, and then back up. "You're Keegan's sister?" He asked, his voice husky. I swallowed and nodded quickly. He took a step towards me, my senses were going crazy, some of them telling me to run, more of them telling me to stay. "You're a lot more attractive, you've changed since I last saw you." He whispered, and I couldn't help but giggle, he sounded like some kind of stalker. He groaned quietly, closing his eyes. This confused me.
"What's wrong?" I asked, a slight hint of fear in my voice. His hand slid towards me, stroking up my arm to my neck. He opened his eyes slowly. "I'm a vampire... And right now, you're driving me crazy." He whispered, and I understood what he meant. He needed blood, I could see that. I stepped towards him, so we were almost touching. I moved my hair from the side of my neck, leaving it exposed for him. I saw his eyes widen, and he tried to resist it. "Go on, you need it." I whispered, looking into his eyes. He shook his head slowly. "I don't want to kill you, you're special... I'm... I'm..." He trailed off, a slight blush coming to his cheeks. "I'm attracted to you in every way possible." He whispered in my ear. His fangs grazed my ear lightly, making my shiver. "You won't kill me. I trust you." I whispered back. He laughed once and looked at me, holding my face between his hands. "You only just met me, but if you say you trust me, I trust you." He said, moving towards my neck. I was suprisingly calm. I felt his fangs against my neck, scratching the surface of my skin. I bit my lip, waiting for a pain that never came. I felt his fangs pierce my skin, and a warm liquid began to trail down my neck. I closed my eyes as he fed, and I smiled. I don't know why, but I did. I felt him wipe my neck slowly and he pulled away. I opened my eyes and looked at him. His eyes were bright green. He smiled at me shyly. I giggled quietly. That smile seemed so familiar, his face, those piercing green eyes... Everything about him screamed at me, it just took a while for it to click who it was. But when it did, I took a step back, gasping.
" D-D-Damon?" I whispered, my body shaking. He smiled at me and nodded. "I thought you were dead?!" I yelled. He shook his head. How was that possible?! He had died in that car crash 2 years ago, I had seen his lifeless body be dragged from the car myself, I sat there for two weeks whilst he was put on life support. But in the end, they turned it off, and he died. I felt a tear fall down my face from the memory. I had never ever fallen in love again. It hurt. Damon came over to me and embraced me tightly. I couldn't help but hug him tightly, I felt so safe in his arms. My body shook as I sobbed against his chest.
" Shh, it's okay, I'm sorry baby girl, I'll never leave you again." He whispered in my ear, his cold breath tickling my ear. He stroked my head slowly and I smiled. This was like old times. I felt safe again.
