I'm sitting on my couch.
Eating Doritos.
Its 3am on a Saturday.
I. Have. NO. Life.
I pick up my phone and turn it on, taping on the YouTube app.
Then, being the indecisive person I am, I exit the app and go to messages.
I click on 'My Royal Guard' which is what I put for Alexa.
Did you know that the meaning of the name Alexa is guard or defender?
Well, now you do. BOOM!
She put 'My Royal Princess' because my name means princess!
Me: I. Love. Doritos. Btw if i woke u up, sowwy!
After a minute she texts back,
My Royal Guard: So. Do. I. U didn't wake me up, I was just watching youtube ;p
I chuckle and type back,
Me: lol sorry to interrupt!
My Royal Guard: it's ok and U NEED TO STOP APOLOGISING SO MUCH!
Me: lol do u wanna come over?... even tho it's like... 3am...
My Royal Guard: yeah, sure... I need to talk to you about something...
Me: ok, we'll talk when u get here, PEACE!
My Royal Guard: lol, kk I'll be right over, bye!
I laugh again and set my phone down while turning the tv on.
I don't actually watch tv though, I text Matt.
Me: Heyyy! ;)
Matty The Amazing: Hey Beautiful, how are you? :) x
Aww! He's so cute!
Me: Aww! Beatuiful? Thanks! I'm doing exceptionally well, cosidering all the drama. How about you? x
Matty The Amazing: Yes, beautiful. As always! I'm doing good as well, now not to be rude but is there any reason you texted me at three in the morning? x
Me: lol, nope! I was just eating Doritos and thought "hmm... why not text the bestest most amazing guy on earth?" ;) x
Matty The Amazing: Aww, why thank you! x
I hear a knock on the door and my head snaps in the direction it came from.
Me: no problemo! I have to go, Bye! x
Matty The Amazing: ok, bye beautiful! xx
He sent two x's!!
After practically melting from that last text, I spring up from my seat and head over to the door.
I open up the door and before I can even say anything Alexa yells, "I'm moving."
"W-what!?" I sputter.
We move to the couch before Alexa speaks again.
"Since my mom is... not here... and he is in jail," I understood that she meant her father when she spit out the word 'he' as if it were burning her tongue.
"Devin is now my legal guardian and he said that we're moving..." she finishes.
"You can live with me!" I blurt out.
"What?... Really!?" She looks so happy!
"Well... I kinda just blurted that out but we can discuss this with my parents, ok?"
"Oh Sara, I would love that!"
"So would I, just don't get too excited. There is a big possibility that they could say no..." I couldn't deal with that...
