Heart To Heart

Dre POV

I woke up the next morning by my alarm clock beeping. I groaned at the annoying sound, and turned it off. 8:00am. That was the time that I always get up. I got out of bed and stretched my body before looking at the records that I used to sample for the songs on the album. Then I made my way to the bathroom and had a shave and turned on the shower. Hot water began pouring out and I couldn't help but think about the things Eazy said to me about Jade. I never knew that deep down something was bothering her, and I was determined to find out what that was. After a good 20 minutes of showering I heard complaining from my little brother, from the other side of the bathroom.

"Dre you used all the hot water man!" Tyree complained and I rolled my eyes.

"That's because I can do what I do, and you can't...." I said from the shower. "...and get outta my room boy, go disturb Warren." I said and I heard huffing before he went out. I got out of the shower and dried myself with a towel. Then I put the towel on the rack and got a UCLA T-shirt and some grey sweatpants before putting them on. Today was Saturday and time to chill. These were days that I needed especially after I worked so hard in the studio.

I made my way down to the living room and just sat on the couch alone. My parents were out somewhere very early. Probably shopping or something like that and I was alone with my brothers, Warren and Tyree and my sister. I sighed seeing as though there was nothing to really do, so I just switched on the TV and flipped through the channels to see what was on. I didn't really notice the knocking at the door so I turned the TV off and got up from the couch. "Damn! must be back already." I said assuming that my parents where home from whatever they were doing. I opened the door to find that it wasn't my parents but in fact Jade who was at my door.

"Hey baby girl! Come in." I said giving her a hug which she gladly accepted. They way she was clinging on to me for dear life shows that she obviously has something to tell me about that was on her mind. I shut the door and joined her on the couch.

"So what's up Jade what's on your mind?" I said trying to start a conversation with her. She looked a little nervous and was about to speak until I hear a voice interrupt her.

"Yo Dre! Where's my cassette...Oh who's this?" My brother Warren said and I rolled my eyes. Jade laughed and I couldn't help but notice how cute her laugh was.

"I'm Jade." she said smiling at Warren whilst I gave him the death stare. Warren smiled and shook her hand. "Nice to meet you Jade. I'm Warren. Dre's brother." he said and looked at me. "So y'all together or what?" he said and Jade was about to say something before I cut her off.

"Yeah. Now go away! We're having a private conversation here." I said quickly before motioning for him to go. Damn! My brothers are worse than T.A and D.O.C.

"Did you just say we were together?" Jade said and smirked at me. I gulped nervously. "Uh yeah?" I said but it came out like a question.

"Good because your my doctor don't forget that." she said and I laughed. "Anyways what were you going to say before Warren interrupted you." I said to her and she looked real nervous rubbing her palms on her knees before speaking.

Jade POV

I had to tell him. I have no choice. T.A's words were constantly ringing in my head. It was the only way to get this off my chest. Dre looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes and I instantly felt my nervousness fade away.

I took a deep breath before starting to speak. "Well um..where to start. Basically when I was about 16. I had a boyfriend." I said and gulped. Dre rubbed his hand on my back and I felt sparks in my stomach, he signaled for me to continue and I did. "His name was Dwayne. He was about a year and a half older than me. He was really nice when I first met him. Like really nice." I said smiling at the memory when I first saw him. Dre smiled. "Was he what you thought when you first saw him?" he asked and I nodded.
