Jade's POV

"I'm leaving Ruthless."

Those were the words that I heard from my best friend's mouth. I didn't know what to feel from that moment. Anger, hate, shock, none of those emotions could describe what I was feeling right now. I looked over to Dre and saw that he also looked surprised by T.A's decision.

"Dre leave the room, me and T.A have to talk in private." I spoke through gritted teeth flaring my nostrils. Dre remained seated which lead to me getting worked up again.

"Dre-" I was interrupted by the door being opened then shut again, as I saw D.O.C. entering the room.

"Sup y'all!" he said obviously in a bubbly mood. Then he looked at T.A and shock appeared on his face shortly followed by a smile. "Oh shit! My nigga!" he said and hugged him. I rolled my eyes and Dre gave a small smile towards me. Then D.O.C. sat down next to me and Dre on the couch.

D.O.C. noticed the cold expression on my face and spoke. "Yo um why's it so tense in here man?" he gulped twiddling his thumbs. I was about to speak until my boyfriend decided to ever so subtly, not tell him what just happened prior to that.

Dre spoke"T.A's leaving Ruthless Doc."

D.O.C's jaw dropped to the floor. "WHAT?!" He jumped up from his seat before sitting back down. T.A sighed heavily before he nodded is head to let him know that it was true. Quite frankly, I was beyond pissed.

"I know it's come across as a shock to y'all but-". T.A spoke but I quickly cut him off.

"But what!?" I snapped angrily at him getting up. By now the anger and hot headed nature had taken over me as I remained stood up.

"What?! You're gonna leave the label and do your own thing is that what?" I said all fired up now and walking directly towards him. Dre and D.O.C were looking at each other like what was going on but I didn't care. I was too heated up in the moment right now.

"Jade just listen-" T.A spoke calmly but I cut him off again.

"Shut up nigga I had a fucking nightmare that you fucking almost got killed!" I said and raised my voice at the last part. T.A's facial expression changed. It was concern and worry that took over him. However, he quickly regained his composure and wasn't clearly fazed about me all in his face shouting at him like that. Me on the other hand well I was out of control.

"I know you're upset but-"

"Shut the fuck up nigga!" I angrily spat at him. "Fuck you! I wish I never fucking knew you! I wish you did die in that nightmare!" As soon as those words left my mouth, it was at that point realization kicked in. I knew I fucked up there and then and my normal self returned. T.A's expression now changed from worry to a rare form I never see. Anger. But when T.A gets angry he isn't explosive like Dre or the guys. He's scarier than that.

Dre noticed quickly intervened before either of us could say anything.

"Baby look just calm down. Relax" his soothing voice said.

"Yeah just chill, you're not thinking straight!" D.O.C said obviously trying to simmer and relieve the tension of the situation. I looked at T.A, stone cold expression on his face and guilt washed over my face of those things I said.

"T.A! Look I'm so sorry I didn't mean it!" I begged. I turned into a crying mess now. This shit was so fucked up I didn't even know what was going on anymore. T.A stood up abruptly which sent a jolt through my body in fear. His imposing height of 6'4 towered above me making me cower in fear more than I should. He gave a bitter chuckle before looking directly at me giving a fake smile in the process.

"You know Jade? I never thought you could come up with that. I really didn't." He said and laughed bitterly. Oh shit! When he's like this all hell breaks loose.

"T.A! Please I'm sorry."

"Whatever fool!" he said. "You're just like your brother. Always out for themselves and never listen to shit I say. Fuck you too with kind regards from yours truly."

I started sobbing and tried to pull his arm back just as he started walking but he wrenched my weak pathetic grip on his arm with such force I thought my arm came off. I fell to the floor still sobbing at the mess I just caused.

"Get off me!" he said and Dre got up as fast as lightning and rushed to my side.

"You okay baby?" he said and wiped my tears. I just nodded and cuddled into his chest still sniffling here and there.

"T.A! Come on man you know she didn't mean to say all that!" D.O.C said and got up before he walked with T.A outside.

"Baby girl I'm just gonna check what's going on I'll be back soon alright?" he said and I just nodded glumly.

"Hey! Cheer up babe I'm sure he'll come around soon. Here watch a movie, there's some ice cream on the table, and try to forget about what's going on alright?" Dre said and I giggled before he kissed me. I kissed back and we were like that for a good minute or two before he pulled away and went outside. I smiled for a brief moment but the thought of the events today dawned upon me.

What did I do?

Dre's POV

I walked over outside and saw T.A and D.O.C conversing between one another. They both stopped when they saw me.

"T.A. Jade honestly didn't mean to say the things she said man honestly she was angry." I said trying to reason with him. He just sighed and rolled his eyes.

"What happened to us man?" D.O.C said. "I think Eric and Jerry's ways of doing business is tearing us apart. I think Cube was right Dre we should've bounced just like him."

That clicked in and made sense. Neither of us were not getting paid properly and T.A did say he was planning to build a record label. Hmm.

"T.A why don't me, D.O.C and Michel'le join this new business venture your doing at the moment?" I said and T.A thought about it for a minute.

"I don't know man. I mean I don't want to be the reason that N.W.A broke up cause of all this shit going on." he said and I dismissed the thought.

I sure have to make a choice here.

"Well Dre the matter is I'm in, are you?" D.O.C asks me and I think about Jade. T.A notices me pondering how I got to tell her and breaks my thoughts.

"Go in and tell her." He simply said. I nodded and obliged before heading back in the house. I see Jade smiling at the TV with her tub of ice cream on her lap. She sees me arrive and pats a space for me to sit down which I do.

"Baby girl?" I said and she just hummed snuggling into my chest. I hear the door close and D.O.C walks back into the room. I frowned.

"Where's T.A?" I said and he sat down before he spoke.

"Gone."

" Oh right." I said and looked at Jade who still looked distraught by the arguments earlier.

"Jade me and Dre are thinking of leaving Ruthless." D.O.C said and I gave my girlfriend a reassuring smile before I spoke.

"The financial aspects are complicated and we are not satisfied with what we're getting but beyond that baby is it alright with you?" I looked at her and she looked up at me. I quickly saw D.O.C. from the corner of my eye waiting for an answer. Then she said something that made me smile.

"Sure but try not to do anything stupid alright?" She said and I just nodded.
