A/N- Before I start this chapter what I'm saying is that most of the events that are in this book are not from the movie. I actually researched it online and read plenty of interviews about it. I also got the dates of when some of it happened. Like I said earlier I'm keeping this story 100% real so most of the shit that actually happened like the Eazy v Dre beef will be there but when Eazy cried in the movie after seeing Dre's Chronic on the billboard ain't gonna be there cause that's some fake shit lol. This chapter is quite sad at the end so prepare yourself. Anyways enough of me talking, onward with the story!

Detroit, Michigan

January 1989

Jade POV

The guys were currently backstage because there was some of the police that were there talking to Eric and the rest of the guys.

"So we're gonna tell you one last time. You are not allowed to play that song. Do I make myself clear?" the officer said to Eric and the guys who were sitting in one of the stands. Eric just nodded before the officer smiled and walked away with his men.

"What where they all talking about?" I said to Dre as the guys started to rehearse for their show tonight in Detroit. Dre just shrugged his shoulders and sighed.

"Nothing baby girl. It's just some bullshit. Police can't tell us what we wanna play!" Dre said before adjusting his Raiders hat. I slowly caught on with what they were talking about.

"So they're saying you ain't supposed to play the police song?" I said and Dre nodded before he started to smile at me.

"Police song? Baby girl you're too nice!" he said before he laughed and I rolled my eyes. "It's Fuck Tha Police! Come on say it with me." he said and I shook my head at his silliness.

"What are we gonna do then? You gon' play it?" I said to Dre and he gave me a sly smile. Okay I'm guessing he will play it. Never knew he was a rebel but hey after all he's a nigga with an attitude. See what I did there? No? Damn! You fools ain't got no sense of humor!

I walked over to where Eric was and he smiled at me before he adjusted his locs. D.O.C went to the stage to get the crowd hyped up so I went along with him.

"Yo Jade glad to have you here!" D.O.C shouted over the crowd who was getting pumped up every minute when D.O.C was talking to them.

"Hell yeah! Good to be here!" I shouted back at him. This crowd was insane. There were posters being held up in the air and they constantly waved them around like a caveman does with a flame torch when he is in darkness. T.A was missing out on this. I almost forgot about the nigga. I hope he's alright I mean after all he is our wise guy.

"T.A's missing out on this D.O.C!"I shouted just as D.O.C was about to announce N.W.A. He looked at me in shock. "What?! I thought he came with us?!" he shouted back. I rolled my eyes before D.O.C started to announce N.W.A.

"Right! Y'all ready for this or what?!" D.O.C said in the microphone. The crowd responded with the majority screaming 'YEAH' and the rest just going nuts.

"Alright then Detroit. I give you Ice Cube! MC Ren! DJ Yella! Dr. Dre!-" When he said that I couldn't help but let out a scream of joy of my baby Dre! "-and finally Eazy muthafuckin E! Ladies and gentlemen I present N.W.A!" D.O.C said and the crowd screamed so loudly I felt that my ear drums were about to burst.

All of the guys went on the stage and D.O.C and me went up to where Yella was on the 1's and 2's as the guys performed Straight Outta Compton as their first song. "So what were you saying about T.A not making it?" D.O.C said as we sat down next to Yella doing his thing on the turntables. "Look Doc long story short, T.A gave up his ticket cause I really wanna go with you guys on tour!" I said and screamed excitedly when Dre was speaking during Cube's verse.
