Jade POV

2 months have gone by and I noticed the change in Dre's demeanour when he was around my brother. It's almost as if Suge's words started to pierce his thoughts and it worried me. It worried me to the point where I daren't ask Dre about any of the N.W.A stuff because I felt that would just be the breaking point for him.  I tried to talk to Eric about the stuff but he always kept on brushing it aside for some reason.

"Come on Jade, you really wanna bring this up again?"

"Yes Eric! Because you're my brother and I know that something isn't right! Please whatever it is just talk to Jerry and fix it!"

"Man, you just need to chill alright little sis! Dre is just overreacting like he always do, he'll come round!" 

I rubbed my eyes and sighed as I sat down on the couch. Dre had gone out with D.O.C. to see if any music needed working on at Audio Achievements.  Warren came earlier with his friends Calvin and Nate to see if Dre was there but I told them that he was out. I smiled at the fact that Dre was trying to be the protective big brother to Warren, trying to shield him out of any danger.  

A knock interrupted my thoughts and I quickly got up and composed myself before opening the door to reveal D.O.C. with a rasta beanie on his head, a tank top, shorts and some shades.

"What's gwanin' Jade?"  he said in a horrible attempt of a Jamaican accent. 

I giggled and playfully shoved him before allowing him inside.  

"You goofball Doc, where's Dre at?"

Before he could answer I saw Dre with a huge grin on his face as he stumbled into the house, giving me a kiss in the process. 

"Sup, baby girl?" he laughed as he shut the door. 

"Hey you!" I laughed hugging him. He returned the favour as I pulled away and placed an arm round me. "What's got you all happy today?"  To be honest I wasn't even complaining. I liked it when he was genuinely happy because there was no stress on him, even though he was going through alot these past few months, but I was glad. It was just like I met him before the fame and everything, just plain and carefree.

"Doc said that I needed a bit of cheering up, especially with the whole thing going on right now with the group so he took me to this carnival. Dope as fuck, baby girl! I should've taken you with me." He smiled and I kissed his cheek. 

"Maybe next time huh?" I said before glancing at D.O.C. who had now turned on the T.V and began watching some cartoons that was on. Dre sat down and pulled me onto his lap and for a minute I felt relaxed. All the stuff that was going on and the thoughts that I had just seemed to disappear as I felt content within Dre's embrace. 

My brother, Dwayne, Suge, the group, everything apart from one thing. 

I frowned and and Dre noticed as he hugged me tighter.

"What's up Jade is everything okay?" he whispered as he kissed my forehead. I managed to force a weak smile, trying to give him some reassurance.

"Yeah babe everything's cool." Dre didn't look to convinced and proceeded to stay in the position that we were in. He placed his head upon mine before saying.

"Yo Doc!" 

D.O.C. looked  back and gave a mock face of disgust when he saw me and Dre together. 

"Pass me the remote." D.O.C. rolled his eyes and carefully threw the remote on the couch that me and Dre were sitting on. 

"What movie do you wanna watch?" Dre said as he flicked through the channels.
