Again, it was an awkward drive. Aidan driving with Lucas and Amy in the back. They rushed to be in the back seat, why were they so obsessed with being in the back seat? It's be so much better if Lucas would just sit in the passenger seat. Would it kill him to sit next to his BEST FRIEND?

"Hey Aidan" Amy asked, sounded somewhat annoyed. What could have made her angry with Aidan? "How about some music or something?" I looked at her in the review mirror, she was crossing her arms and fake pouting a little. Lucas gave a begging look to Aidan who sighed and hit a button the the radio roughly.

It seemed he it play on a CD that was in the played. It sounded familiar, the person singing. Where had I heard that voice before. I reached for the volume knob but Aidan hit the play button again and turned off the music. I glanced at him, his cheeks were a bright red. Wait, Aidan's blushing?

"Hey man" Lucas said. "Why'd you turn off our CD?" Amy had a smug look on her face and Aidan...he looked like he wanted to murder them both. I shrank away from him and moved closer to the door. He looked seriously pissed, and he was scary when he was pissed. "Oh calm down dude. You're scaring Aurora!" He looked at me and his eyes went to the murder rage to a calmer angry look. He started mumbling under his breath some very unkind words. Lucas and Amy were quietly laughing.

I squirmed in the passenger seat. This ride was taking forever. How far away could this party be? "What's wrong Aurora" Amy said, in a sing song voice. "Don't you like seeing Aidan get all mad?"

"She's not a b-" Aidan started when Lucas cleared his throat angrily, glaring at him. "She's too nice to find enjoyment in pissing someone off."

"Aw, what's wrong Aidy" Amy practically sang. Aidy? Now that just sounds stupid. "Aren't you having fun?"

Aidan slammed on the breaks, almost sending my flying into the dash board. Maybe seat belts had a use after all.. "Did you just call me Aidy? The fuck is wrong with you?"

"Dude" Lucas yelled. "That's my girlfriend and we got a kid in the car! Watch your mouth." I felt like pouting, wanting to bring up the fact that I wasn't a kid. But I kept my mouth shut. I looked out the window, a house with all lights on was a few houses away. Cars were parked all around it.

"Um guys" I squeaked. Lucas and Aidan were fighting over if I was a kid or not. Amy was trying not to laugh, when everyone looked at me. "Um I think, that um the party..." I merely pointed at the house  that was near the end of the street. "I can um walk from here if you want?"

"Aw she's just too sweet" Amy said, shaking her head. "Let's just walk from here, it's not too far." She got out of the car and Lucas follower her, leaving me alone with Aidan. she sighed and ran his hand through his hair.

"I'm sorry about that" he said, looking at me. I shrugged. "So..you don't strike me as a partier."

I shrugged again, "I don't. This girl likes Kevin or whatever his name is and he invited me. She thought he meant both of us." I didn't mind not leaving. I could care less what Tiff thought about me not showing up.

"Well we um better go then" he started to scratch the back of his neck. I never noticed him doing that before. Was he nervous?

I sighed dramatically, "if I must." We both got out, I shivered involuntarily. It wasn't too cold but I forgot my sweatshirt...I looked down at what I was wearing. I was still in my tight low cut v-neck and skinny jeans. I was mortified, I NEVER wore this out. Aidan took off his sweatshirt and draped it over my arms, I looked at him shocked. "Um, thanks" I said, not quite sure why he gave this to me.

"Can't have you freezing, can I" he said with a chuckle. "Plus it'll stop guys from flirting with you." I raised an eyebrow at him. "Lucas would kill me if I let guys hit on you" he mumbled with a blush as he looked away. Wait, he's blushing. I just nodded, it was stupid sense he wasn't even looking at me. We walked into the party silently, even if we were talking I doubt he'd hear me. the music was blaring so loudly that even screaming you couldn't hear the person next to you. Seems like everyone was already drunk. Why had I agreed to come to this?
