THUNK! My head hit the floor and my last sense of touch was being carried and thrown onto a rough surface. My consciousness blacked out afterwards.
"Right there on the sidewalk, we met after dark
Your friend gave you a ride, you step out of his car
The moon lit up the street, it was the middle of July
But it was cold like November that night
You're looking right at me and I'm looking away

Flashback
It was the middle of night when I was just coming back from a bot fight. My 14 year old self was actually running because not to far behind me, a big guy named Yama was chasing me.
I was scared so I kept running until I heard police sirens wailing in the background.
"And I know that I'm so far gone
I'm so gone right now
He knows I'm down and he'll knock me out
Just one more look and he'll burn me down
He'll burn me down"
I was caught and led to the police car which then drove to the entrance of an alleyway, the very one I was running from.
I squeezed my fingers crossed that I wouldn't need to share the police car with a buff guy.
"With our hearts on fire
We lit up the night, left our fears behind
Running for our lives, like we never die"
After a while the door opened and revealed a young boy and supposedly, an angry brother.
"This is your fault Hiro!" The older one said.
"Well you were the one that was speeding!" The boy called Hiro said.
"Because of your arrogance!" The elder of the two glared.
"Well you could have slowed down when the cops came Tadashi." Hiro huffed.
"And it felt like magic, but I knew I couldn't have it
We were just so close, it's tragic
We could feel the burn of our hearts on fire
Our hearts on fire"
I began to laugh as the car sped off. Both boys looked at me strangely as I suddenly realised they noticed me.
"Oh... You stopped arguing." I said.
"I can't even breathe, you're like a shooting star
I know you could burn out, but I can't see that far
Get a little closer and the sparks shine in your eyes
I don't stand a chance"
"Well when we get home we're not." Tadashi growled.
"Woah chill bro! Nothing you do now can reverse what little bro here did! So relax and look for a better side to this situation, look for a new angle." I said, saying my motto I came up with myself. Very proud.
"And I know it's a long way down
But I'm holding on
You flash that smile, my heart's giving out
There's no way I can forget you now
Forget you now"
"And little bro, you should listen to bro here, he does have a point, it's not like you need the money." I said, realising that I to had been in the wrong.
I pulled my robot out and crushed it in half, placing it under the police car's seat.
"With our hearts on fire
We lit up the night, left our fears behind
Running for our lives, like we never die"
We eventually got out of the car and pushed into a jail sell. I felt sorry for Tadashi, being with all the crooks while Hiro and I got a different cell upstairs.
"And it felt like magic, but I knew I couldn't have it
We were just so close, it's tragic
We could feel the burn of our hearts on fire
Our hearts on fire"
"So... What's your name?" Hiro asked.
"(Y/n)." I responded.
"I assume you know mine already." He said.
"Don't assume, cause that makes an ass out of u and me." I said. Hiro took a while to understand what I said.
"He was freedom, he was magic
I was on fire, it was tragic
Had my walls up, but he broke me down
And the sparks fly all around

I looked at Hiro who was staring at his shoes. Something told me he was special and unique, not his good looks but... Well... His attitude... And yeah his good looks.

Flashback end.
I couldn't remember much after that. And soon, I forgot it all.
