By the end of school, the entire gang was tired. "Freddie couldn't sleep! He could hear wasabi and GoGo's baby!" Fred mumbled.
"Come on, we can do this!" Tadashi and Honey Lemon smiled.
"How did you kill your baby?" GoGo asked
"Nearly." I corrected her.
"And may we remind you that we are younger than you so it's harder to do these things compared to you!" Hiro pointed out.
I folded my arms and nodded in agreement.
"All right fair point but you are both prodigies so you should be smart enough to do this." Fred pointed out.
"Exactly! Thank you!" Wasabi agreed.
"Alright fine! We will get a better result than you at the end of the week!" I smirked as a plan formed in my head.
All most as if by magic, Hiro had read my thoughts. "I second that!" He smiled.
"Seriously doubt it but okay! Winner takes $20!" GoGo smirked.
"This will be easy!" Hiro laughed.
"Says someone who almost killed their baby." Tadashi joked..
On the way to Fred's mansion, Hiro nudged my shoulder. "How the heck are we gonna pull this off?" He worried.
"We are gonna take a little detour to your place" I explained as I dragged him off track and across a street.
"Wait I'm so confused!" Hiro butt in.
"Well, we get a professional to look after Tadashi Jr!" I explained.
"Aunt Cass?" Hiro asked. I shook my head at his guess.
"Baymax!" I giggled.
"Ooh! Good idea!" Hiro laughed we raced through the cafe and hurried up the two short flights of stairs.
We entered his room and began to search for baymax in his red charging pod.
"Found it!" Hiro called happily, hoisting it out from under Tadashi's bed.
"Great! Now let's get to it!" I grinned. I carried the baby into the mansion as Hiro pulled the charging pod containin baymax in it.
We turned around the corridor and snuck into our room before anyone heard us.
Activating Baymax, we waited until he inflated and waved. "Hello Hiro and (y/n)."
"Hey baymax can we ask a favour?" Hiro asked.
"We were given this robot to look after as a parent simulation but we aren't getting a healthy sleep cycle." I explained.
Baymax took one glance at the robot. "What can I do to help?" He asked.
"Look after it like a child." Hiro said, handing Baymax Tadashi Jr.
"Thanks so much Baymax!" I laughed, hugging the robot and exiting the bedroom.
Hiro and I went to the computer room and began to play video games for the next half hour.
Soon enough, the gang walks in with wailing babies. "Someone sure wants to win $20." GoGo stated as she stuffed a plastic milk bottle into the robot's mouth.
"Did you kill Tadashi Jr?" Tadashi asked smirking.
"No Tadashi, we um... Put him to sleep!" Hiro lied.
"That quickly? You guys are naturals!" Honey Lemon gasped.
That's how it went for the next few days. We would go home, check on the baby with Baymax then play video games.
The gang convinced themselves we killed the baby or something where as Fred thought we sold the robot
Every night was a perfect night's sleep. Baymax would stand in his charging pod and care for Tadashi Jr while charging.
We never once woke up from a wailing baby as the wailing only lasted for three seconds or so. We were always fully energised and laughing at the gang's misfortunes.
Baymax even learnt a thing or two from looking after the robot. So practically we all won... Well, Hiro baymax, Tadashi Jr and I anyways.
Soon enough, the end of the program day rolled around. The babies shut down automatically and we packed baymax up early in the morning, returning him to his normal position.
We entered the classroom as the teacher began to read the results. After a few 78% good jobs and 83%, the gang was finally called.
GoGo and wasabi received a very high 92% which scared Hiro and I greatly, would our first encounter with the doll effect our mark?
Honey Lemon and Tadashi got 84% which meant they were out of the bet.
"And finally, (y/n) and Hiro! With a shocking total of 98%! Well done!" After being congratulated, we received our $20 from the gang and high fives.
"How?!" GoGo exclaimed baffled.
"Well, we are geniuses." Hiro bragged.
"Hiro, you hacked?!" Honey Lemon spluttered.
"No! That's cheating!" I laughed
"You guys suck at being parents." Hiro and I teased.
Fred clapped his hands. "Well I guess we can all agree that was a shocker." He smirked.
"Well... Not really, Baymax never is wrong!" Hiro laughed at my comment.
"You did create him to help." The gang could only glare.
