I was watching a YouTube video from these youtubers called smosh.... And this ended up appearing in my mind at 1:18 in the morning... Video link in the comments because I can't put it in the media. Hate all you want but I don't care, soooo...enjoy?!

"Please don't make me." I begged my mother as we walked to the cafe.

It was the weekend and what better way to spend the day than to bring my friend along to my mother's work because his Aunt is pre occupied?

"Oh you need to grow up (y/n)! It's only a hobby!" My mother replied.

"A terrible hobby! Who even teaches... That?!" I exclaimed in disgust.

"Hi (y/n)! Hi (m/n) Hiro will be just a second." The familiar voice of Aunt Cass called.

"It's not a hobby for some people!!" My mother reasoned. "And just because I teach it, does mean I do it."

I was about to reply when the genius boy appeared. "Hi! Sorry. I was packing some stuff up!" He grinned.

"That's cool sweetie, let's get going." My mum smiled, waving goodbye to Aunt Cass.

We all jumped into the car as my mother chucked my gym bag towards me. Inside was a set of sports shorts and sport bras.

"Ew! If you expect me to where this and join you, forget it!" I yelled.

"Don't knock it till you try it!" My mother exclaimed.

"Well I don't wanna look like one of those kinds of people so yeah no thanks!" I replied.

"Well just think about it (y/n), someone in this world has to teach people."

"Did it have to be you though?" I asked.

Hiro nudged me in the ribs. "What DOES your mum do for a job?" He asked. I sighed... Oh boy...

"I ain't gonna sugar coat it hiro, i'll tell ya and your gonna deal with it. My mother teaches pole dancing." I explained.

"Teaches WHAT?!" I swear Hiro's eyeballs popped out of his skull.

"It can be pretty funny at times... Like this one time, a lady was spinning around the pole when she kicked another guy in the gut!"

"Men do it to?!" I asked.

"Well yeah! Just not as many as girls." My mother explained.

"You could have told me this BEFORE I got in this car." Hiro whispered.

"Well I would have loved to but you would have thought I do it to... Then think i go to clubs!!!" I whispered back.

"(Y/n).. Your only 14, why on earth would you go there and what makes you think I would jump to that conclusion?! Besides, it's your mothers job, not yours." He pointed out.

"I guess so-" my reply was cut short by my mum stopping the engine of the car and shouting, "we are here!!"

Both of us groaned as we followed her through the studio, eyeing the hundreds upon hundreds of silver poles.

"Now, classes won't start for another 30 minutes so you can do whatever until then... I need to stretch and practise." And with that, Hiro and I pulled out our electronic devices.

"What shall we play?" I asked.

"How about... Woah! Where's your mum?" Hiro exclaimed.

"What do you-" I turned to look and find no one there.

"Mum?"

"Yes dearie? Need something?" A voice called. It sounded like it was coming from a high up place so out of instinct, I looked up.

Surprisingly, my mum was on the top of the pole, spinning around and around and around.

"Woah!!!" Hiro called as I rolled my eyes.

"Please, that's easy." I muttered.

"You took lessons?!" Hiro
Gawked.

"What?! NO! The method got stuck in my brain after 80 year olds were taught this... Like the steps were repeated to many times... " I cringed at the memory... I saw the unseeable that day.

"Well, teach me how to spin around then." Hiro suggested.

"I'm sorry what?! No!" I yelled.

"Come on (y/n)! It's not like this will become a hobby." Hiro pointed out. I sighed.

"You owe me 20 bucks." I muttered.

"So, how do we start?"

We both began stretching and practising how to hold the pole, positioning the body correctly and the proper postures.

Eventually, it was time to spin around the pole. After I succeeded, Hiro gave a few feeble attempts.

"Come on! Swing yourself!" I exclaimed... So far this wasn't worth the twenty bucks I decided to take from Hiro.

Hiro swung himself again, hitting his legs hard against the pole... I think it was his legs.... I hope so.... Eventually his eyes started watering.

"What's wrong?" I gasped.

"Wait did you hit ..." Hiro nodded, causing me to laugh.

"This is definitely not becoming a hobby for you then..." I giggled.
