My biggest dream is to enter SFIT. I studied hard and aced all my tests. Eventually graduated high school extra early.
I earned a place in the prestigious school and couldn't be happier!
'I spend too much time thinking about
who I'm supposed to be
I play by everybody's rules
that don't seem right to me'
Upon entering the school, other students pushed past me and knocked me to my feet. I hit my head and felt a little dizzy.
I stood back up slowly and glared at the students. They sure were in a hurry.
I continued my way through the corridors when a group of girls wearing stiletto heels pushed past me.
A girl with red tangled hair paused abruptly. "Oh my gosh Karen, look at this!" She exclaimed.
"What is it Kristen?" The girl called karen spat.
"Another nerd! Now we won't be as bored with that stupid mascot!" Karen laughed.
"Oh please, she is probably a know it all... A waste of our time." A brown haired girl snorted.
"Kayla!" Karen snapped. "Name girl." She demanded.
'I'm cool and polite
on the outside
When I get a chance
I run and I hide
If your eyes are closed
it's hard to see
What if I back down now
'cause I'm afraid of what might happen
What if they turn away
when I show them who I truly am
What if I lose my breath
when I throw those big doors open

"(Y/n), you don't need to be so rude." I pointed out.
"Wait... Karen, this girl is young." Kristen pointed out.
"Yeah so?" Kayla spat.
"Hiro!" Karen exclaimed worried. "Listen up, keep away from him, he's mine!" She shoved me away and walked by with her two side kicks.
"Should I even care?
They're all sitting there
and everyone's staring at me
If I step out in the spotlight
maybe I'll be set free
What if I back down now

I clutched my arm and ran sat up. Tears spilt as I wondered if anyone would be nice.
My dream school can't be full of torturous brutes can it? Okay, calm down. You don't want anyone to see you with tears now do you?
I got up and walked around to the science labs. A little lost, I entered one to see a group of people turn towards me.
"I... I'm sorry I'm a little... Lost." I stated uncertain.
"What's your name?" A boy with a cap asked.
"(Y/n)." I trembled.
"Oh! The new girl! FRED!" A tall blonde girl exclaimed. A guy in a mascot suit appeared.
"I'm sorry I know I was meant to show the new girl around, I was caught up with the "special K"."
"It's okay... I'm a little lost." I stated.
"Oh! Your here! Yeah sorry about that, I was stuck with the "special Ks"." Fred apologised.

"Do they happen to be Karen, Kristen and Kayla?" I asked.
"Yeah, did you meet them?" A girl with purple streaks asked.
"Yeah... They weren't very nice... But they seem to fear me cause I'm young?" I stated.
"Did... Did they mention a person called Hiro?" A boy with raven hair asked. I blushed.
"Yeah, who are you guys?" I asked.
"I'm Fred, this is Tadashi, Honey Lemon, GoGo, wasabi and Hiro." Fred introduced.
"Oh! I'm so sorry Hiro! I'll not interfere with your girlfriend...Karen." I said.
"She isn't my girlfriend, she's a pest. She bullies Fred a lot with her friends and thinks I'm her property." Hiro explained.
"Oh." I replied. An idea popped into Tadashi's head.
"Say, since she hates you and likes Hiro, you guys should hang out around her to piss her off!" He laughed.
"What if I stand up proud
and I show them who I truly am?
They're gonna call my name
and I'll throw these big doors open
'Cause tonight, just tonight

"Hiro babe-" a voice cut off. It was Karen.
"What is she doing here?" She asked in a sweet sick voice.
"We aren't dating, you're to old for me." Hiro said disgusted.
"And she is his girlfriend!" Honey Lemon piped up.
"WHAT?! This isn't true?!" She spluttered.
"Uh..." Hiro said.
"Yeah it is now leave!" I grinned as she ran off, crying.
"All it takes is one big dream."
