Be prepared for the sad feels :( I'll write a happy one next!

In life we all receive tests and learn the lesson. Unfortunately my lesson is more of a life long punishment.

When ever I come across a person I have a crush on, there is one word people describe them to me.

The 'f' word.

I hate the 'f' word.

I am in love with Hiro Hamada. Yeah, that dude from "Big Hero 6".

You know? The most adorable guy with an amazing voice, sparkling brown eyes and fluffy black hair?

Yeah him! I love him!

But...

He is... F- doesn't live where I live.

He is from a movie. And it hurts. When you crush on someone from a movie, it's all happy for a while.

It's like you have met your one true match or something.

Then the worst thing in life happens.

Reality hits you like a bus.

And you fall over, cry in pain and realise, he only exists in a movie, book, picture. Nothing else.

You can dream of him, draw him and think of him yet he will always... Not be near me.

And then comes the 'f' word. And you dread it so much, well, that's what I'm dreading.

The 'f' word.

I can't stand it! It's as if he exists when I watch "Big Hero 6" but suddenly dies once it's over.

That's the end of the movie, his tale, we don't see him as a child and we won't see him in the future.

And even if they make a sequel, after that, I won't see him anymore.

And in the end, I. will.outlive. my. love.

And that's probably what hurts me most.

And that 'f' word.

The depressing part is that I used every wish bone, shooting star, lucky clover, birthday, Christmas and Easter wish to see him.

But none came true. And then people bring up the 'f' word.  And I collapse all over again. Just after I try to move on, I collapse back again

You know those moments when you tell yourself, "Okay (y/n), I'll eat one chocolate and save the rest for later."? Then eat them all in one go!?

I'm having one of those moments. Except replace the chocolate with Hiro and eating with loving.

I can't stop! It's like a drug, a disease, a contagious illness! When will my heart learn that he isn't real?

And the more I ask myself these questions, the more I wonder how I can't stop, I realise it's true.

My friends are right, my crush really is the 'f' word. He doesn't exist and he won't ever hug me, kiss me, smile, talk or even love me back.

He is the 'f' word.

And out in the world, many girls will have the same crush as I, we can all fight for who rightfully "gets" him but in reality, there is nothing to "get".

He is a figment of our imagination. I am one out of hundreds of people who feel the same way.

And that's the part I don't want to accept, to understand or learn. The test in life I failed and can't move on from because I'm to busy mourning my "test results".

Because, he. Is. The. 'F'. Word.

But what is the 'f' word? I mention it as if it were an evil devil.

It's mentioned throughout this chapter, when describing Hiro, the ugly reality, heck! It's even the name of this chapter!

But what is this 'f' word?

It's far worse than that cuss word you might refer the letter 'f' to. That word has no meaning to me.

It's another 'f' word that gets to me. It's not a cuss word at all, it's mainly used in libraries.

It's such a common word that kills me when i think of it. No, it's not 'fantasy'.

Fantasy is to do with magic and sorcery which I am certain Hiro is not.

It's not 'fake' because somewhere in the world, he was created as a character to exist in a movie, he isn't fake.

No, the word I'm thinking of is so much more different than you could ever imagine.

I can confidentially say you will never guess it unless I tell you. Which I will of course.

And once I tell you, perhaps you may see things from the way I do.  How you to, may have failed the test of love.

Maybe, just maybe you can still find a way to "study" and get better "results" by over looking the negative.

Just because my crush is a character, doesn't mean I can't be happy and love him.

But the 'f' word.

That 'f' word.

It's a word I even barely use.

"What's the word?"  You say?...
