Taehee's POV
I sniffled and rested my head on Hoseok's shoulder. "This is so embarrassing." I muttered, covering myself from the unbearable embarrassment.
Hoseok laughed and pat my head.
Class was still not over so Solbi and Taehyung were still stuck in both normal class and lunch class, meaning they couldn't come visit me until after school. It was mostly their fault for texting in class with Ms Ji. I wasn't even slightly curious on what Jimin was doing but that didn't mean he was off my mind once.
My head couldn't wrap around the fact that he chose to help Jinae over me. Even though he promised to protect me no matter what happens.
The nurse had bandaged my leg earlier and told me it was just a light sprain; it would be better in a few weeks or less but I should still take the day off.
She was pretty awkward most of the time when she was bandaging my leg so it stung at times, but I didn't blame her for being super nervous, there was an idol standing right in front of her.
Hoseok wiped off my mascara and sighed, "we need to teach you how to reapply makeup since we won't be together all the time." He said, putting on mascara for me.
When he finished he popped the mascara in my mini makeup kit that was a gift from Hyori. It contained the basic makeup tools and was easy to carry around since everything was in a cute floral portable makeup bag.
Luckily all the products were from Korean brands such as Nature Republic or Etude House, and not from more expensive brands or foreign brands.
I winced as he accidentally poked my eye with the mascara. But of course he simply laughed it off and acted as if he didn't just stab my eyeball. It didn't really help that the mascara was quite irritating my eyes. I wasn't use to wearing makeup and my skin was breaking out because of the irritation.
"Yah Jung Hoseok be more gentle!" I scolded him, thinking of the time he and Jungkook braided my hair, I remembered saying the exact same thing.
Hoseok groaned, "learn to reapply it yourself!" He hissed back as he threw the mascara back into my bag. I smirked, "why should I?" I said in a rather mocking tone which irritated him further.
"Gosh you're so bipolar. Just ten minutes ago you were crying your eyes out on me!" I blushed and hit his chest.
"Don't remind me."
We chuckled as my face was a deep red and burning from the embarrassment. He patted my head, "want to go want that drama now?" I smiled and nodded.
He stood in front of me and crouched down. I jumped on his back and grinned.
As we walking out of the infirmary, I insisted that we needed to go to my locker and then tell everyone else that I was going to go home since I knew Solbi would pester me later if I disappeared without saying anything.
By the time we got to my locker, it was lunch break and there students surrounding Hoseok, screaming.
I got off his back and told him that I can handle the rest, and that we should just go meet up in the garden. Hoseok was reluctant at first but my stubborn personality shone through and bet his ambition.
When he finally left I felt like I could breath again.
No sweaty, screaming fangirls.
I opened my locker and got out my backpack. "Taehee." I flinched and looked behind me immediately. Of course there stood Jinae with a sly smirk plastered on her face.
"Poor Jimin wanted to go apologise to you but instead he saw you warming up to one of his friends. He's really angry, you should've seen the veins popping from his neck when he saw you embracing J-Hope Oppa." She said with a mocking voice. I didn't know what to say other than stand there and take in her rude comments.
