Taehee's POV
Today was the day of Jimin's birthday. I had prepared him a big party at BTS' dorm; inviting a good variety of Jimin's close friends.

As the BTS members were putting up decorations, I had the job of watching Jimin. And as easy as it sounds, it was completely the opposite. He barely spoke to me other than asking me what day it is.

I obviously pretended I forgot.

So now he was laying in the middle of room while watching some western movie. I felt pretty bad after lying to him but I guess my present makes up for it.

I took short glances at Jimin as he laughed at the small jokes in the movie. It's been a while since he laughed like that in front of me.

When the movie ended he turned over to me. I can't remember the last time he even looked at me but this look was just so empty, like he was looking right through me to the other side.

"Were you serious when you said you didn't know what day it was?"

A small nervous chuckle escaped my lips. "Of course. Is there something special happening today?" His face tensed up and he turned away. "Nothing. Absolutely nothing." I could see the corner of his lips curving to a slight frown.

I couldn't help but have the urge to squeeze his cheeks together. He popped in another movie and laid back down, he leaned against the cushion and hugged his knees tightly.

I looked at the screen and smiled. "A horror movie?"

Everyone knew Jimin was never fond of scary movie; so when he put one on, I was quite surprised. Usually he whined and groaned to me, to turn it off and put in a comedy.

The movie he had chosen was a classic western horror movie, 'Nightmare on Elm Street'. I've probably seen this movie over 800 times so I'm already use to all the jump-scares but that definitely wasn't the same with Jimin. It's only been ten minutes in the movie and he kept flinching every time someone said something or just appeared.

I cuddled up with Honey and let Honey snuggle close up to me as I tapped away on my phone and watched the movie.

Hoseok kept me updated on the preparations. So far they've got the decorations done but the food is taking longer to prepare than expected.

Frustrated, I threw my phone to my side and laid back as Honey licked my foot, making me giggle. Jimin turned around and I swear I saw the corner of his lips tug into a small gentle smile.

My phone began ringing and I grabbed it.

Hoseok. Perfect.

I stood up and walked into the kitchen but was stopped immediately. I looked at our hands that were intwined, feeling that familiar electrical spark that I haven't felt for a while.

I was thanking the lord right now for letting us be home alone. "Jimin?" His hand tensed up as his name slipped past my lips.

He muttered something in a low voice that I couldn't hear. "Could you repeat that?" I asked as he hung his head lowly, still gripping onto my hand. My insides were were about to burst from the nervousness.

"I said why aren't you calling me Oppa?" My heart twisted as Jimin's face was filled with disappointment and sadness. "Oppa." I said and held his hand back.

Our moment quickly ended when my phone began ringing again. I tried pulling away but Jimin didn't budge, his eyes were glued to my phone and I unconsciously tried hiding the screen name. We just made up I don't need him to hate me again and I can't ruin his birthday party.

I took a quick glance at Jimin and noticed the anger in his eyes flaring. He let go on my hand brought it back to his side before standing up tall.
