Jimin's POV

My throat went dry as a thumping in my chest became heavier and much louder. Her words echoed throughout the room — V and Mrs Park didn't blink nor bat an eyelash. I guessed they too realised she had amnesia.

The two soon left the room, probably realising that we needed some alone time. I stepped closer to her and I noticed her flinch. Her eyes watered and she pulled the blanket up closer to her face. Taehee's breath became ragged and heavy, her hands that clutched on the blanket was trembling.

"A-Ah I'm sorry but can you not come so close?"

I nodded and smiled sadly. "I guess I should re-introduce myself." I bowed and heaved a sigh, "my name is Park Jimin, I'm in my final year of high school. I'm currently a full time idol in a group called Bangtan Seonyeondan. I'm currently in love with you but I haven't been making you happy like I promised!"

She peered at me before lowering the blanket. I noticed a change in her demeanour quickly. "Let me guess. We've been dating for less than a year, you probably have a jealous ex-girlfriend, your girlfriend has been trying to break us up, you've been hanging out with this dumbass girl and you have been neglecting me." She blurted out thoughtlessly.

A tinge in my body made me twitch my eye slightly, knowing how she was dead on. The journal explained how Jinae was harassing Taehee with Hani.

Taehee stared at my reaction and smirked rather amused of my reaction to her statement. Without a doubt, she's going to be much different from the girl I've learned to know. I stepped forward and watched as her eyes flickered down to my feet.

"So Jimin? Can you tell me why I fell for you in the first place?" She smiled at me and tilted her head to the side, almost mockingly. "Because I can't really see myself falling for you. You're good looking and all but you seem to have hurt me a lot. I would prefer if you would allow me to try and remember about myself, I can barely remember my own name and brother."

Her words were sharp and I fully understood the hidden message behind her fair but cruel words.

"You want to break up with me." I breathed out, barely letting the words pass my lips

She nodded, her pale complexion was still ghostly. A cut on her lip caused some bruising and swelling. Parts of her arm were purple mixed with a dirty yellow while other parts had shallow cuts. Yet she still looked so beautiful in my eyes.

Almost as if she was a beautiful monster. Her sharp words brought a dagger to my stomach but I fully knew her side.

Confusion was welling up in her mind, forcing her to remember me was a burden.

"I'm sorry. I might not remember you Jimin but I know I can't trust you right now. And now that I faintly know you did, I don't think I can trust you at all. I know I'm being unreasonable but I will try my best to give you one last chance." Taehee turned away and laid back down, "I would like to rest now."

I bowed once more, she was giving me yet another chance. "Please get well soon Taehee. I love you."

Her body tensed up and she didn't reply back. I could tell she was feeling awkward so I just left without another word. I shut the door and heaved a sigh before all the members came running up to me with pitiful expressions plastered on their face.

"No good?" J-Hope asked, patting me on the back. "Don't worry she probably doesn't remember me either!" He joked, however it was rather humourless since I knew he was devastated as much as me.

V looked blankly at me, his hand clenched into a tight fist and I could still feel my cheek burning in a pit of hot fire. "You broke up didn't you?"
