After 2 years of being married Adeline and her husband wanted to start a family or they say having children of their own. They went to every doctor and everyone who they knew that could help them.
But it wasn't meant to be, there were answer's like 'I am sorry, this is all I could do'.

This was their last hope and chance. They got an appointment to the best gynecologist for her to be helped. They were waiting for answers from the doctor. Adeline sat next to Alexander, her husband, crossing her fingers giving herself hope for good answers. While Alexander soothing her and making  her believe that everything will be alright.

The doctor entered with ultra-sound sheets closed the door behind her and called "Mr and Mrs. Gale."
" Yes." Alexander replied.
"I've done what I could do, but the answers weren't different from past test." with those words Adeline's face was flooding with tears while Alexander continued rubbing her back making himself be calm and strong.

The doctor continued " but there is no 100% assurance that Adeline can't conceive but from my knowledge I could say that there is 20% chances she can have kids but there is 80% she can't."

Adeline couldn't take it anymore she made herself stand and started to make her way to the door leaving Alexander listening to the doctor.
" Mr.Gale I hope that you'll hold on to the possibilities left, it's still too early"
Alexander couldn't say any word more than "Thank you." due to how disappointed he was after hearing those words from one of the greatest gynecologist.

It was a silent drive back home filled with tears of Adeline about what she is going to do in her now lonely life, filled with people who disapprove her, by that meaning the in-laws.
She got out of the car and directing herself straight to their room. Alexander did not ask or say anything because he himself was in no mood to do anything.

It was a week of silence treatment and sadness and now the once married happy couple was turned to the opposite. It was a week where by it took enough to make Adeline come to her right mind

'Until when are we going to live like this. If we can't have what we want then already we should be happy. And instead I turned us into zombie couples. Today is a new day everybody has problems. We can even adopt a child and it could still be ours no need for the kid to come out of my womb'
She thought and tried to let out a smile which made her energy come back.

She stood up, cleaned the house, do all the chores and cooked a good meal for dinner with her husband. She wanted to start a new. She waited for the sun to already set waiting for him.

When the time nearly approached she dressed herself better than always or just different from the one week of hell they kept themselves through.
She made the table ready.
She wanted to change everything. She wanted to erase the disappointment, the sadness and expectations they had. And instead start a new chapter of happily ever after.

Alexander was ready to go home and deal with the silence . Since he already got used to it. He couldn't get over that his wife can't have children yet he still loved her dearly. So he had no choice left than to let her be until she was ready to talk it out.

He reached home, parked his car while the guard closed the gate. Surprised that he saw the lights on at that hour, because during the zombie couple mode no light was turned on, it was a dark and cold place too.

"I think today madam is happy, sir" the guard , Samson spat out.
Alexander forced a smile not sure of what is going on.
Before reaching his hand out for the door to open. Adeline opened the door with a smile making Alexander out of  breath with the way she dressed up.
"What is happening?" That is what came out of Alexander's mouth taking his wife into a hug kissing her. "Let's go eat I've cooked your favorite today." Adeline said motioning his husband to the dining taking off his suit.
"You look beautiful honey." Alexander complemented his wife.
" and here I thought you weren't going to complement me." Alexander smiled happily seeing her wife back that's all he needed and he realised it.

They sat and talked their problems out and how their days went. Reaching to conclusion that they are ready to adopt a kid and make him or her their own. They ended up sleeping together for once in the whole week of their hell week, as they called it.

It was morning and they woke up from the screeching sound of his mother's yells and scold and bangs of doors she opened and closed, invading the house only to see them inappropriately almost undressed......
