The party was over just after the awkward scene which Alex created, the kiss ended up with a slap which landed on Alex's face. Everyone was talking about it and every magazine knew they will have great profit the next day since they were going to write about the richest family which had too much privacy.

"Would you like to tell me why you embarrassed all of us on the stage Alex?" Adeline yelled at Alex who did not seem so tense at all. "If you never wanted that to happen then you could have at least choose your words correctly, you said I am available, that was a lie" Alex spoke. " You know what, I don't want to talk to you because it's pointless" Adeline said taking her purse excusing herself to the door. "I know you still have feelings for me Adeline, and I will not stop until you become mine again" Alex said loudly making Adeline whisper "in your dreams"

It was a busy day and Paula was having her tea managing the business branch they had back in San Francisco, when her secretary brought the magazine and entered the jar office. " Good morning Mrs Gale" the secretary greeted with respect. "Good morning Amanda" Paula replied back. "I thought this would interest you for today" Amanda said giving the Magazine to Paula "What is this?" Paula asked in confusion and annoyance. She didn't like that the woman she treated badly was back with a son while she had other plans for her son. She didn't like that she was proven wrong, she is back with a son and she didn't like that she will take all the control she has on her son. She took the phone and wrote the number fast. "What is this, Paula?" Just after one ring the phone was answered while a girl's voice asked. "We need to think fast before he go out of our hands" Paula spoke in a panic . "That is your problem Paula, I just need Alex to be mine" the lady said. "I'll think of a plan" Paula said not giving up. "Your plan better be soon"

Three days passed since the party and Adeline's mind was full of the kiss she shared with Alex. "What are you thinking Adeline?" Helen spoke loudly bringing Adeline back to her senses "nothing" Adeline replied, "nothing? Well nothing seems important these days, this is tenth time to call your name" Helen complained. "I'm sorry" Adeline apologised "you people seem desperate you know, it's not bad giving him a second chance. I mean everyone deserves one" Helen said. "Not a chance, I don't want to go back I've moved on" Adeline said. " you've moved on I can see, or maybe there is another definition of it, you never dated since him and you have no interest, and he just comes and one touch from him you pace out after every five seconds when nobody asks you a thing" Helen talked the obvious. "I did not date because I was busy raising my son and making my life better" Adeline said convincing Helen that she was fine but was she really telling Helen or just her own heart. "If you say so. But what if he doesn't repeat what he did" Helen said. "Are you taking his side now" Adeline said starting to get irritated since all of what her sister said was true. "If her mother is alive then whatever happened in the past is likely to repeat again" Adeline talked. "If hardly believe that, I just want you to stop making things hard for yourself, I mean even Nathan would love his father and mother to be together"

Suddenly the door opened revealing a happy Nathan's face who ran to his mother "mommy I missed you"
"I missed my little boy too" then he went to his aunt Helen "and here I thought you didn't miss your aunty" Helen said taking Nathan in her arms "how could I not. I missed you too aunt" And the laughter ended when Alex cleared his throat revealing his existence at that place, Helen took Nathan upstairs while starting their own conversation and Helen giving Adeline the last glare before living.

"What now Alexander" Adeline started. "I have so much to say" Alex answered. "Well start with what makes sence" Adeline said trying to keep her distance as far away from Alex. "I thought you hated what makes sence but I have to tell you anyway I can't keep it out of my head" Alex said making the distance Adeline tried to keep evacuate. " and what is that?" Adeline stood up wanting to make herself busy with choosing some random thing to do like pouring herself a glass of water when she wasn't even thirsty but she was too late, when she just stood up Alex took his chances and turned her to his side and now their bodies were two to one inch apart. "I can't get you out of my mind and I can't stop thinking about you, hell I never stopped thinking about you" Alex said while she couldn't move anymore, her body betrayed her, she melted in his touch her sister was right all along and there was no point in denying because everything around her kept betraying her. Her eyes were closed and her head was down. "Look at me, Adeline" she shook her head meaning a 'no'. "You even make it impossible for me to resist you right now, I think I've through hell just for this moment. I love you Adeline it's always you. I thought you could be happy without me and I had to sacrifice you for your happiness but I was wrong, I still want you back, don't make this hard for me" Alex raised Adeline's head kissing her temple not wanting to do what will make her hate him even more, he realised her from his hold making her not feel like a prisoner, Alex's face was pitiful if was seen but on the other hand Adeline's body lost control and it was expecting more than what was given, just after Alex removing his hands it was Adeline's hand which held onto Alex for support. Alex was happily surprised by that, "let us give Nathan a chance of having at least a proper family and see where this takes us" Adeline talked not wanting Alex to leave her, "no, let us give our hearts a second chance, I promise I won't leave you again. I love you Adeline, you've given me everything I could ever ask for. From now onwards nothing will break me away from you"

After the make up, they were busy making out to just be interrupted by Alex's phone. The first ring Alex was annoyed and ignored it, same goes to the second and third but just the increase of irritation made it different, since he was having the moment he was dreaming of for four years since Adeline left their house. "Answer it, it sounds important" Adeline said and that is when he took the phone. "What is it?" Those were the first words which came out of his mouth. "Sir, we have found where your sister leaves, we've tracked her and we still are but there is no sign of her, I think she knew" the sound from the other line talked. "Continue keeping track of her some should remain there and some find out where will be her next point".
