Now Alex was ready thanks to Adeline they were all impatient to see Nathan. "You always wished you had a child. And you didn't spend most of the time with him." Adeline said.

"How come you said he is eight by now, I might have seen when he was young" he said confused of Adeline's early statement.

"I will leave that story for you to remember. I can't talk about it." She said ending the conversation. She knew that story was just going to make Alex's mind not to remember. He will think his past was ugly and so try hard to forget but with curiosity he will want to remember.

It didn't take time for Diana and her family to come, including Nathan who was quite looking everywhere but not the face of his dad.

Alex knew he was avoiding him. And Nathan was holding himself in one piece not crumble down as he did. "Nathan, you wanted to see me, my son. Why are you so far" he said making him know that his presence is noticed though he is trying hard to be invisible.

"Good morning, daddy" he greeted still stuck in the same position.

Alex smiled, thinking how lucky he was to be blessed by him. His son was brave and endured everything which was too much on him. "Come close, I won't hurt you. I forgive you" he said just to make him ease Nathan tension he had towards him.

"You couldn't answer me, how did you know" Nathan said starting to get comfortable. But still his body wasn't moving

"I told you Nathan, your daddy loves you, didn't I?" Adeline interfered.

"Come sit with me over here and tell me what you did when I was sleeping" Alex accepted the fact that he forgot everything but he woke up to a much better place where he had everything and he decided to keep them more close.

Nathan's body finally got the will to move and get on the bed to sit beside his father. "You are not going to sleep ever again. Right daddy" he said clueless that everyone should sleep even if they've spent eternity sleeping.

"Sure, will stay together right buddy" Alex did not want to disappoint him.

"I am going to tell everyone my hulk best friend is awake. Daddy I have another best friend" Nathan was finally loving this moment. No one ever saw him this happy since the day his daddy was shot until today. His playful part just returned.

Alex was just surprised at how energetic he was. It just made him aware of how much he was needed by his son. "Who is he? I thought I was the only one" Alex said pretending he was jealous.

"It is not a he. It is that sleepy head Aunt Diana is holding" Nathan said making everyone laugh and adore the moment.

"No, she is not. Nathan you are mean" Diana said.

Alex grew curious to who was  the cute sleeping girl. She was peacefully sleeping on his sisters arms. "Is she my niece? What is her name?" He asked .

"Oh! I thought you'd never ask. I brought her here so you could see her. She is Emily" Diana said as Emily rubbed her face with her tiny hands as she opened her eyes.

"She is not sleepy at all Nathan" Alex said.
Emily woke up looking at everyone for a while, then smiled at seeing her mother Diana. "How are you my princess" Diana cooed as she touched her nose.
"Mama, A-ny." She said pointing at Nathan. Explaining that she wanted to be there.

Everyone smiled at how adorable Emily was. "Bring her here. I want see her" Alex loved children and that was his nature. He took Emily as Nathan smiled at her.  "Oh so you call this mean boy A-ny" Alex said playfully at her.

"It was her first word, we used to call Nathan honey and she grew up with it" Diana explained feeling proud of her Emily.

"I don't like that name" Logan said pretending to be overprotective of his daughter. 

"Whatever" Diana said to him while everyone enjoyed them.

Days passed and it was the day when Alex will be out of the hospital. Adeline called for help after finishing parking everything. Sara was controlling their privacy and security as she was told by Diana. But the news flew fast.  Paparazzi, reporters and everyone heard that Alexander Nathaniel Gale returned, from where?  Nobody knew the exact story except the one's who did the research.

"Was i this famous?" Alex asked.
"You have no idea. " Adeline answered as she held him from one side while the other was held by one of his bodyguards.
"Sir, are you going to take your position back as the CEO of Gale's company?" One of the reporters asked.
"Sir, what was the reason for your disappearance?" Another asked and many more questions popped out of their mouth, of which even Alex himself  didn't have a clue and asked himself every single day.

He was tensed and wanted to be in a peaceful place. He referred the hospital bed than the position he was in.
He was thankful when he entered in the car. "Where are we going?" He asked still frustrated and angry.

"Home. With your family. That is me and Nathan"   Adeline answered.

"You never mentioned that you we're my wife" Alex said.  Because it was normal that if she was his family they would've been married each other.

"Because I am not. But you can't say I'm not your family because baby we are stuck together even if we ran away from each other" Adeline said smiling at him.

"Where is Nathan, then?" He asked.
"I think he is already there with everyone." Adeline answered.

"We are here Adeline" the driver announced.
"Thank you, come we help him out" Adeline said as she got out taking the wheelchair and helped him sitting.
 
"I never used these" Alex said hating the position he was kept in. He now felt as a burden and a heavy load to everyone.

"You have to learn it's just for a short time, we are going to make you race remember" Adeline whispered to him showing that I understand you, Alex eased his anger and brought his smile back.

They got in only for Nathan to scream "welcome home daddy, we are going to leave as a family now.  Mommy told me yesterday" Nathan was happy his dream was finally happening.

Paula hugged his son and Helen was happy seeing her sister's face bright again "hey I brought Pizza for everyone, except for you Emilia I don't know what you will have. But it's okay you have your Pacifier right baby" Helen said when Emilia was looking at her as an odd specie screaming.

Alex didn't know her and so he wanted to ask. But he was stopped by the answer of his question. "It's my sister, Helen. Sara's mother.  And that one serving on his plate is his husband" .
