Alexander was happy yet couldn't believe that Adeline really told him about having Nathan four years ago. "Nathan, go to Sister Sara, mommy and I need to talk" with that Nathan went inside. "Adeline if you really told me about this I will find out today" Alexander said making himself clear that he didn't trust what Adeline said earlier. "Go check in whatever you want, you never trusted me once how can you trust me now" Adeline said not afraid of what will come if he didn't see anything. With that Alex left.

Alexander reached his suit and now he was already on his laptop recalling all the emails he once had before going to the military. He sat there for an hour not figuring out the email Adeline sent about his son, until he dozed off.

But when he came to surface again he remembered once he had an email which he only opened twice since he created it and the last time he used it was before he married Adeline. He typed it then opened it and the only email which was sent was Adeline's and some of advertisements people made online. He clicked the email,

Hi

It's me your ex-wife if you remember the useless girl who couldn't get pregnant. Well I am living for New York that is where I'll dwell from now on. If you ever get this message, or it ever crossed your mind to check your emails. The useless girl is now pregnant just know you have a baby.

ADELINE

With that guilty and regret was the only thing he felt. That email killed him thousand to hundred times the thought of Adeline thinking that she was a useless girl, while he couldn't sleep nicely for all those four years with several attempts of killing himself. He promised himself now that when he gets Adeline back nobody will ever make him convince to leave her. The mission of getting his family back will start tomorrow by making up the time he lost with his son. The thought of his son gave him hope and made the day complete to him.

Adeline was having a difficult day although she knew this day would come where Nathan meets his father but she didn't expect that it would be this soon. Everybody had their own questions, talking of everybody meaning Sara and her cousin Nathan. "Aunt Adeline, what happened?" Adeline was far away from her thoughts only to be brought back with that question. "Your boss is Nathan's father and my ex-husband I didn't know he would find me this soon" Sara was shocked by the news her aunt just said, she couldn't ask further until Helen with a sleeping Nathan in her arms came in. "he couldn't stop asking questions about his father until he slept. I guess he needed a father this much my husband wasn't enough for him, Adeline. Don't think too much maybe you should give Nathan a chance with Alex"

Not only the scars of the past shed blood again as wounds being cut open but they were cut further leaving a question will they ever heal. Adeline had other thoughts, that Alex now knew that he had a son, he will come back and forth until he takes away Nathan from her, not only that but also her heart deceived her that it still beats fast thinking of him that did he still love her or it was just her crying and longing for him all those years. "What if he takes my son with him and leaves me broken as I was before?" Adeline asked her sister.

"I don't think he will do that to his son. He knows more than anybody that Nathan needs his mother too" Helen said making her sister think about what is good for Nathan.

"I don't think I can be with Alex again and our son is too young for adult's problems. And I can't make him choose either I don't know what to do Helen" Adeline admitted to Helen

"Just give it a try and do what you think is best for Nathan. We all don't want to lose him" Helen said.

Starting tomorrow she was going to start giving Alex a chance with his son, since it will make Nathan happy that he found his Father.

It was too early in the morning at six and Alex was knocking on Adeline's door step for more than one reason, clearing his schedule: Sara's work, eating the breakfast he missed over four years: Adeline's work, and having fun with his son. He couldn't wait for them to open the door that he kept knocking hard. "who could it be this early in the morning, COMING" he heard from the inside he knew that Adeline and people waking her this early were repealing especially when she had a worst night, with that he started re-thinking the breakfast reason.

The door opened with a very angry Adeline looking like a lion ready to eat him alive. But the truth is Alex saw an angel who he should be begging mercy from. "What are you doing here this early; well Nathan is not waking up right now." Adeline said wanting to close the door until Alex welcomed himself inside to close the door himself trapping Adeline with her back facing the closed door. "I came to take what is mine, Adeline and that includes you" that position made Adeline's heart quicken, thinking her legs would be jelly she should stop thinking of standing straight. Adeline couldn't hear a thing but just inhaled the familiar scent she missed, her mind couldn't process but she needed to get hold of herself. She tried to push him away but ended up feeling the well built packs he had on his chest which she once used to touch. "Alex please, let me go" she begged him to free her, before something she wasn't sure of could happen for her to regret. "Until you promise to make me breakfast, because I missed your cooking" he said inhaling the smell of her hairs not wanting to let her go any sooner he missed that smell, he couldn't help himself if he did not let go at that instant and whatever happens he knew he will like it but he needed forgiveness from her first he couldn't ruin his second chance. He took his hands off realizing that Adeline took his deal.  

 "If you want me to make your tea forget about your Armani suit and when it's seven you go wake Nathan up and give him a shower" Adeline stated making herself understood. "And what should I wear for the time being?" Alex asked keeping 'are you doing this on purpose' look towards Adeline. "I don't know and I don't care" Adeline said making her way up to her room to change and prepare herself for the kitchen and work ahead of her day. While Alex realised he had his short pants in the car with an extra t-shirt.

Breakfast was done and Adeline went up to call Nathan and Alex to come eat fast before they are late only to find Nathan jumping on the bed with only the underpants and his hair combed and brought back and Alex with only the short pants and a bare chest. She gasped at that site "what are you doing? You people should be ready by now. I knew you were of no help, go eat I will get him ready" she said her face red like a tomato which to Alex was the sexiest thing he never wants to miss every morning. He went down and after couple of minutes Nathan was ready "mommy, Alexander told me to call him daddy. I have a daddy" Nathan said that for the fiftieth time without him realising "because he is your daddy then you have to call him that you have no choice"

"Bye mommy" Nathan said excited about the day ahead of him. He wanted his friends to meet his father since he met all of his friends' fathers. He kissed his mothers cheek then run to his father. "We will meet again Adeline" Alex said ruining the smile Adeline had on her face.
