Paula was nervous with her next move, she had no choice if she wanted to change. She was nervous towards that particular person she disrespected since she knew her. And by the looks and words she was given by that person two days ago just shoes how fed up and tired she was by the attitude she gave her.

She saw her sitting on the bench with her head down before she looked at her. She had a darker expression filled with sadness, fright,worried and in need of help. Nothing had changed out of her other than the clothes she wore.
"Adeline, we need to talk at least for the last time, if you won't mind" Paula requested as she neared her.
Adeline nodded.

They sat down as the coffee was presented towards them. "When did you last eat?" Paula asked trying to be concerned and this was new to Adeline making her not know how to reply.
"Anyway, I'll just get forward with the main point" Paula said seeping her coffee.
"Go on" Adeline said
"You must be surprised why I came here to see you first but it's all because I'm sorry to treat you the way I did. I came to think and now I know maybe all of this happened because of me, I'm sorry for all of this. I am trying to change for the better, maybe one day you'll see me as you wanted me to be and not disappointed as you were. Just a request I may ask, try to make Nathan forgive me." Paula apologized.

"I'll remember this and maybe when I see you as a different person I'll move my heart to forgive Paula. I don't have any hard feelings towards you for now I'll try to forget the past and maybe with you my heart will start a fresh and I'll make sure Nathan knows you for good" Adeline replied politely.

"Thank you, I'm glad to know that you'll try to forgive me it's more than I expected. Now I'm going to see Alex because I'm going Canada then maybe I'll settle Africa for sometime alone, I've done much. The companies I think Diana will take care of them and when Alex wakes up please inform me." She said both standing up heading to the elevator to Alex's room.

When they reached the door, Adeline decided to give Paula some time alone with her son. "I think I'll wait here"
She sat on the hospital bench as Paula entered the room.

Minutes passed and finally Paula was out of the room with her handkerchief rubbing off her face, probably its the tears.
She went directly and sat next to Adeline who didn't utter a word since Paula went in.
"This too much to ask, i never thought in my entire life that i'd ask you for this. I'm really sorry for what i did" she said while continuing to rub the tears coming from her eyes.
"I can't stay here and watch him like that, every time i think of him the guilt inside me increase. I'm asking you to take care of my son, i know you love him so much, i think you love him more than i do. I cant bare to listen to the same answer from the doctors that they really don't know when he will wake up. I think i need a vacation" Paula said.

"He will be okay, that's what i'm hoping for. I will never give up on him, i know he is strong" Adeline said with so much faith and hope inside her voice.
"I wish you stay strong just like this for everyone of us" Paula said standing up saying her goodbyes.

Six month has passed, Paula decided to settle for a country side since she wanted a change in her life. She still thought about her son and all she could hear were the same answers that he is still in a coma.

She was returning from the store but it was dark, she decided to be late taking care of her other errands and seeing the new friends she made at that place. People weren't friendly there until you have the same social status as them.  They poor befriended the poor and most of the rich seem quite ignorant but she was among the few who mixed up with almost everyone,  since she decided her new motto to be 'for the better change'.

She was inside her van with her driver, she couldn't drive due to her poor vision during the nights or evenings, when she saw a young lady seeking for help. "Stop the car for a minute" Paula instructed.
Since the driver saw her too "Ma'am you cant trust these girls they always seek for help"
"When someone needs help they have to be helped no matter how much they seek it.  I said stop the car right now" she said her commanding voice rising up, because some one needed to understand who was the boss.

The car stopped and Paula got out to help the lady who was clueless of where she was going in that night.
She helped her and went into the car with her.  Then the car was in motion again. "What is your name young miss?" Paula asked.
"Arena" she said faintly.
"What happened to you, where were you going at this hour" Paula asked with so much concern.
" they released me at this hour and they killed my parents and burned the house i couldn't find anyone home,  i had no where to go " she said crying with sadness and anger of what they did to her. It was quite a dangerous place to live with no security.

They reached Paula's ranch, she gave her a room and clothes to change in for that night and rest before their  long talk.

Well this chapter was more about Paula and the way she changed.
Everyone should know evilness is created no one is born evil.

And giving up is not a good option in a, set of choice.

Everyone deserves more than second chances because god gives us millions of choices and chances why not give others what is given to us frequently.

Well but this chapter says Alex is still in a coma.
And that young lady, gonna cause a lot.
