So here I start.

He was awake and the nurses did all the check up he needed at that time. He felt awkward that now all surrounds him were blue empty walls.
He couldn't help but wonder where were all those people who needed him, Where were all those voices he heard because he couldn't recognize all of them.

It was still the middle of the day, Adeline tried much to keep herself battering the word 'Alex' in her mouth. But the world wasn't just allowing such thing.

Just when she was saying her goodbyes to her sister, when her shift ended her phone rang with an official number that she had to keep.

Just after the network was dead and hyper her rose.  "I can't believe this, thank God, Helen Alex is awake. My Alex is awake" she said hugging her sister and leaving her heading towards her sisters old truck.
" be careful Adeline, don't get too hyper. We wouldn't want you to be the next one to be asleep" Helen said mostly to herself because when she finished her sentence even the scent and the smoke of the car wasn't in existence.

Adeline parked the car, got out of it and started running towards the room which saw her cry more than anyone.

She opened the door and Alex's head faced her , just to see who entered. Adeline's tears were streaming, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Was he really awake, was it really the man who shared her love with or a totally different person now.

"Who are you?" Alex asked as he saw himself being in a very awkward position.
Adeline did not want to accept what she just heard, but yes the question was perfectly clear, and she got the fact  that Alex does not know her anymore.
"Alex it's me Adeline, the mother of your son. You don't remember your son Nathan" Adeline said trying to get the answers for her own question  'doesn't he really remember anything?'

"I don't remember anything" Alex answered as he learnt to accept it since when he started hearing the voices while he was unconscious. "But I know your someone important in my life though I don't how, I kept hearing you everyday talking about a boy named Nathan" He talked what he heard and what he already knew and can't figure out while Adeline was listening while thinking how will his son act now that his father does not recognise him.
"You told me he is my son, I've heard him several times but the only words I hear is that he is asking for forgiveness. I want to know why" this sentence made Adeline's tears not stop.
"Its enough, it's not the time to talk about this. I'm just happy you are awake"

Alex did not want to push anything so hard he was calm and accepting. He kept quite not knowing what to say to the woman sitting beside her. But he felt so sorry and the tears she dropped in his presence burned him now that he could see them.

"Alex, did you have anything to eat since morning?" She question while getting interrupted by the nurse.
"No, he didn't. He refused everything we brought for him since morning." The nurse answered.
"I said I didn't feel well" he said glaring at the nurse.
" okay, Mr Gale. Madam I came to tell you that our Mr here needs to receive some minor tests and you need to sign over here" the nurse took the glare and then turned to Adeline.

Adeline took the card and signed. "Done" she returned them to the nurse as she took them and dismiss herself. "do you want to die. You really don't remember me right? I'm going to give you an introduction. Here it is,  I am going out to bring the food and you will open that matured mouth of yours to eat. Are we clear" she said with a mean principles voice not bothering to wait for an answer she went out.

The only thing Alex got was that Alex is his name and Gale as his sir name and that he was bounded with the woman who was really patient and fierce as fire. His life wasn't that bad that is what he concluded still not knowing what was the reason for him to be on a hospital bed not remembering anything.

On her way to the canteen Diana was running towards her "Adeline I heard the news. Is it true" Diana couldn't believe that his brother is awake and so much a lie. It was transferred secretly thus no media attention could disturb them.
"Yes, he is inside. I'm going to fetch him food" Adeline said hiding her sadness to the fact that her brother knows nothing about her. Adeline turned to her way leaving Diana going straight to the room.

Adeline returned finding Paula and Diana outside the door. Paula's face was red and wet from the tears she was shedding. "Why are you outside?" Adeline asked. "I'm sorry Adeline, I didn't know it will be more than difficult. He can't remember anyone" Paula said her heart full of regret that she felt the day her son was brought to the hospital.

"At least he's breathing. That's all.
When did you come?" Adeline asked.
"I was the first one to get the news then I said they should inform you. Adeline don't hide the sadness to comfort me.  If you feel like not forgiving me just don't because I think I can't forgive myself" Paula said still not changing the topic.

"I want to start over. I have thought about it. I will make Alex remember everything we had. I promise she love you just as before if you are sorry, you just have to forgive yourself. Have you seen him already?" Adeline said feeling her head with new ideas she finally found the answers and relief to her heart.

"I think you have to stay with him. He will be out of here in less than a week. They say that since he opened his eyes he never moved his legs. They have suspicions that they are paralyzed together with his back" Diana said breaking  the words to Adeline.
Adeline didn't break down she was going to accept whatever news she will get but all she just wanted him to be alive. She learnt to accept it because she couldn't do anything more than just to make him come back as his strong perfect Alex.
"We will live together as a family me together with Nathan. Just as we dreamt before maybe it will be easy for him to recover" Adeline said determined hiding all the sadness with a positive idea.
