part 18

Zayn's P.O.V

Me and the lads had had a really busy week and hadnt managed to meet up with helen,liv or lillie but tonight that was gonna change. I had asked lillie earlier in the week if she wanted to come out for drinks with me tonight but her reply was shocking,

'I dont think i can, i feel like i need to get to know you more first' which made me wonder how she thought we were going to get to know each other so i asked if she would prefer if i got harry and liv to come and we can take it even slower although i didnt want to. Luckily she was up for that idea.

Lillie's P.O.V

Me and liv were getting ready to go out for a few drinks with zayn and harry although i had stressed every time it was just a friendly social drink nothing more, i wanted to get to know zayn more first before we went on a date and i want to make sure he's gotten to know me.

"so are finished yet liv?" i shouted from the living room i was sat fully dressed waiting by the door for the usually late liv.

"5 minutes let me go the loo" she shouted from the her bedroom,

"be quick" i replied.

My phone started to vibrate in my bag so i got it out and answered it without looking at the caller ID,

"hello"

"hey lil"

"hiya helen, what you up too?" i wasnt sure what she was doing tonight athough i had asked her to come but she said she was busy.

"oh hi am just going out in a minute am just ringing to tell you good luck"

"what for" what was she on about?

"with you and zayn"

"its not a date helen"

"in your eyes it isnt but in everyone else's it is but anyway ive got to go speak soon"

"yeah okay" i ended the call but then it hit me where was she going?who with because she wasnt with us?

"who was that?" asked liv

"helen, she said she was going out but where?" i asked

"oh yeah shes going to nialls for the night" said liv as though it was obvious

"hold on niall's why didnt i know this" i was shocked helen never told me

"yeah she never told you because you always get involved and all mature, she's just going to 'chill' with him" said liv speech marking chill which i knew exactly what she meant.

"right anyway Missy lets get going were already 20 miutes late"

"oh its just called being fashionably late its normal"

we headed out to the club we were meeting the boys at and for some reason i was really nervous although i knew this wasnt a date, but did zayn still think it was.

Zayn's P.O.V

Me and harry were sat in a booth waiting for the girls, who were now 40 minutes late. For some reason i was feeling really nervous about tonight and although lillie didnt think it was a date i was treating it like one as i wanted to make her feel special but comfortable, thats why liv and harry are coming.

"look mate it'll all be fine" said harry placing a hand on my shoulder

"i hope so, I just want to make the right impression"

"i think you already have, she just needs some conformation"

"of what?" i asked

"that you like her back, just be yourself" and while i pondered about harry's words of wisdom the girls had arrived and walked over to our booth, and I couldn't get over how gorgeous they looked. Liv was wearing a red play suit with a white blazer with super high wedges, her brunette hair cascaded down her back slightly wavy. Then Lillie stepped to the side and i could see what she was wearing, she had on a navy blue skater dress with bright red heels and her curls framed her cute face perfectly.
