Helen's P.O.V

Louis had been working on the TV for a good hour now, in that time zayn and lillie had gone home for no apparent reason whether it was together or separate we dont know but neither of them where answering their phones. Also liv and harry seemed quiet and were both just sat on their phones, liv asking the odd question to lou about what he was doing with which he just replied “all will come together soon my child” that boy was always a strange one. Then there was me, niall and liam who had managed to put the world to rights and everything in between.

“please may I have your attention” said louis as he announced to us all “i would like to let you know that the all singing all dancing karaoke machine is now working with enough microphone’s for everyone."

“you mean to tell me you've slaved away at the TV for a good hour for a karaoke machine?” inquired liam which was what we were all thinking.

“look it doesn't matter how long I spent on it for those of us who are here and wanting to join in its ready!” I knew I was up for it karaoke was hilarious, well it was when I was singing.

“what a load of shit I'll be in my room” said harry who seemed really annoyed tonight for some reason and by the looks of it Liv was badly coping with it.

“whats up with him?” I asked Liv who seemed really upset.

“hey lets forget about those who aren't here because all of us are going to have a good night” said liam at least some of louis energy had rubbed off.

“that’s the spirit liam, come on liv I know you have that die hard karaoke voice deep within you” said louis taking hold of liv's hand and placing a microphone in it.

“am okay for now if a song I like comes on ill join in” she said giving me the look all friends had with each other saying ill be okay, which I had to trust.

“right first song” said louis looking at his list.

“oh now this I love!!!” exclaimed louis standing back as me, liam and niall got into our karaoke stances.

“Is this the real life?

Is this just fantasy?

Caught in a landslide

No escape from reality” out we all blurted the famous Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.

And that was how the night went on after over 2 hours of dreadful singing, well just from me the boys were like angels, we had sung the best of all karaoke songs including; I Will Survive ,

Wonderwall, Oh Sweet Child Of Mine, Suspicious Minds, Man Who Can't Be Moved and many many more.

Liv still hadn't moved from her position of the couch and seemed engrossed in her phone for the entire time, I could see that harry may have acted differently today but he wasn't here and I wanted her to enjoy the time she had and not let him affect it. I liked harry but its more liv she can be sucked in easily and has a delicate heart which I don't always know if harry will treat right.

“do you mind if I pick one for me and liv” I whispered into louis ear,

“yeah sure just type it in, most songs are on there” he said sitting down with niall and liam waiting for my choice.

I wanted to pick a song that me and liv could just belt out together like good old times and I had a good one,

“I wake up every evening

with a big smile on my face

And it never feels out of place

And you're still probably working at a 9 to 5 pace
