Love Triangles - Chapter 7

Chapter 7

(Ajae’s POV)

“Ajae, you awake?” I heard my sister ask me as I started to wake up.

“Yeah, what time is it?” My voice came out scratchy and I could feel the bile rising in my throat. I quickly pushed myself from my bed and ran to the bathroom. Once inside I locked the door and emptied my stomach into the toilet. After I had finished I took a shower and brushed my teeth .I walked back to my room, to find Cassidy still sat there.

“You want the time now or when you asked me?” Her voice dripped of sarcasm.

“Leave your sister alone” Bobby, told her from behind me. I turned to look at him. He had huge bags under his eyes, he was wearing the same clothes as yesterday and he had a beer in his hand. What happened last night? I was snapped from my thoughts when Cassidy pushed past me and went downstairs. I raised an eyebrow at Bobby who just shrugged and left. Quickly, I threw on a pair of skinny jeans, a black vest and tied my hair in a loose bun. I then chucked on a pair of socks and my combat boots, giving myself a once over in my mirror before walking downstairs. Suddenly I decided it was a bad idea, as I barely dodged a book thrown in my direction.

“Hey watch it” I shouted at the four people arguing in the room, who all snapped their heads to look at me. Dean instantly looked towards the book at my feet, then back up at me and mouthed ‘sorry’.

“How are you feeling?” I heard a voice come from the kitchen and then a man in light trench coat walked out. He had short brown hair with blue eyes and a worried look on his face.

“Castiel” I shouted as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

“Um, I missed you to” He said uncomfortably. I quickly pulled back and looked at him. He had a few cuts on his face and a bruise just above his left eyebrow.

“You look like hell”

“I’m not the only one” He looked behind him as Liam stepped out. His eyes were puffy and red, he had been crying over something. Obviously he went to Castiel for help; he’s like an older brother to him.

“Can someone please tell me what happened last night, when we got back?” I asked looking at everyone. My eyes stopped on Sam, he noticed and smiled, which I returned.

“Bobby got angry about the baby and told Liam to get lost.” Cassidy told me not looking up to the book she was sat reading on the sofa.

“Then Liam came to me asking for help, because he couldn’t lose Cassidy or the baby” Castiel added.

“Bobby why would you do that?” I asked him, he knows how much Cassidy and Liam mean to each other.

“I was just mad at them, she shouldn’t be pregnant, not when she could lose it in this world.”  He shouted at me, as I could feel the tears forming in my eyes.

“Ajae, I’m sorry” I barely heard him apologize as I ran out the door. I stopped when I reached my car and fell to my knees crying. How could he say that? He knows what happened; he knows how I feel when people bring up the subject. I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, holding me close to their chest. I knew who it was. I recognised his scent. Sam.

“Hey, it’s gonna be okay. He didn’t mean to say that.” He whispered into my hair, while rubbing my arms softly.

“I know, thanks.” I said between sobs. We sat like that for a few minutes until I stopped crying. I sat up properly, after wiping my cheeks and looked at him. He just smiled, which made me laugh. I love how he can make me happy, when I am sad. I love the way I feel when I am in his arms. I love the way he smiles at me. I hate that I don’t know if he feels the same.
