My body went numb with emotions. His lips pressed firmly against mine, and for some reason, it felt right. My lips pushed further, asking for more, and with granted permission, we deepened the kiss. It felt so right, like everything in the world was being put into the correct spot.

Andy's cold hands travelled up my back into my hair, tangling themselves in the long locks that hung low. I did as well, gripping tightly on his jet black hair that went down to just above his shoulders, tugging it lightly as he pushed me back. Our bodies sunk further into the cushions, and the sound of thunder was heard, but for once I was calm.

My body shivered as his tongue slid into my mouth but soon relaxed at his touch. Something was so familiar about this, about this feeling.. About everything. About him.

The soft sound of a moan escaped his lips against mine, filling me with pleasure. My lips went down, trailing along his neck as the cool skin sent shivers down my spine. I couldn't stop myself; it was as if I had no control. He buried himself in my hair, and I kissed behind his ear, letting a few words slip out in a whisper, "I love you."

That's when I stopped. I pulled away, covering my mouth as I looked at him, my eyes full of worry. He stared back, although his eyes held no emotion. Just a blank stare. I shook my head, "I'm... So sorry... Oh my god-"

"Madison, calm down," He said softly.

"No, no," I mumbled, "that was a mistake. That... I... There wasn't-"

"Madison, don't lie." Andy said firmly, holding my arms gently. I looked up at him, my heart caught in my throat. My breathing was uneven, and I could feel my head pounding, "Don't lie to yourself. You meant it."

My eyes softened a bit, but then I immediately shook my head, standing up off of the couch, "No! No, no! I didn't mean it!" I shouted, looking away from him. I heard him stand up as well, and I spun around, "I barely even know you! I-No-Ugh! I don't know why I said it, but I don't-"

"Try and tell me that that kiss meant nothing! Try, Madison!" He yelled, pointing his hand to the couch. "You can't, because then you'd be lying!"

"It meant nothing!" I lied through my teeth, shaking my head, "I barely know you Andy! How am I supposed-"

"You do know me!" He shouted, grabbing my arms. I wriggled around but found myself locked in a tight grip, unable to break free. "You do! Think hard, Madison! Think of every memory you have from last year, and remember who was by your side through all of it!"

"Andy I can't! I don't-" I cut myself short as the sound of glass shattering sounded upstairs. Both of our eyes looked up, waiting cautiously for something more. The hard wood floors creaked under someone's weight, and I swallowed hard as I saw light pouring out from my bedroom door that was now open wide. There, standing in the door way, was a tall dark slender figure, it's dark skin clinging to the bones. It opened its mouth wide, showing off rows and rows of fangs, and that's when I screamed.

"What the fuck is that." I whispered.

"Go hide!" Andy shouted, and his mouth opened to say something more but was caught in his throat as the thing tackled him to the floor, shoving him hard against it. The creature hissed loudly, and I stumbled back, not wanting to stay and watch. I pulled myself up and snagged my keys off the counter, running to the garage door. I heard a loud crash behind and was met with the floor as something pushed me down, pressing my face against it.
