I became aware of what was happening around me when someone put a wet towel on my head. The bed shifted to the right as someone sat down beside me. I slowly moved my head and groaned when I touched it. It hurt like crazy. Maybe I hit my head, I hadn't felt anything.

"No" Justin said sternly as I tried to take off the wet towel

I dropped my hand and sighed, making the headache worse

"Are you alright?" Justin asked, worried

"Just a headache" I said "What time is it?"

"Four o'clock in the morning"

"And you're taking care of me?!"

"Well, yeah, you're my sister"

"You've got bags under your eyes" I said as I touched them "You've gotta get some rest"

"Nah, I'm fine"

"You're not fooling me. I've been living with you for sixteen years now"

He chuckled "I'm not leaving you here. You sound horrible"

"I'm fine"

"Sure, you're not fooling me. I've been living with you for sixteen years now" He said, winking

I rolled my eyes "Okay, well how 'bout we do this" His thoughts started to scream at me, making the headache unbearable "Ouch! Stop thinking!"

"Sorry" He put his mind in blank mode. Another defense mechanism

"Thanks. So, you stay here and sleep beside me. You don't want to leave me, and I want you to sleep. How does that sound?"

He thought about it "Sounds good to me"

I moved myself to the left, making room for Justin. He laid down and turned around, facing me "Do you need anything?"

"No, I'm fine" I said, pressing the towel against my cheek "Now, let's get some rest" I said as I closed my eyes

Justin took the towel from my head and started to sit up

"Justin, I'm not going to sleep until you do" I said keeping my eyes closed

He grumbled something I didn't hear

"Keep it down" I said as his cursing thoughts reached me

He pulled his ‘wall’ up and laid down again.

"Good night Hale"

"Night Justin" I whispered as I started to fall asleep

I woke up when my alarm clock started beeping. I hit the snooze button and stared at the ceiling. My head didn't hurt so much, I could resist one day of school. My last week at this school if mum and dad said we were definitely moving. I got up, feeling a little dizzy as I stood up. I took a shower and cleaned my face with cold water. I splashed my neck with it, feeling good when I did it. I put on a blue tank top and a skirt, pulling the top under it and slipping my feet in black high heeled ballerinas. I brushed my wavy red-brownish hair and put my make up on, my green eyes twinkling with the light.

I went down the stairs, a thing popping into my mind. Justin was supposed to be in my room. I grabbed the metal bar of the stairs, looking for support when I almost fell of the stairs. I walked into the kitchen were dad was having breakfast and reading the newspaper the newspaper delivery guy had left in our mail box. Justin was nowhere to be seen

"Hey dad" I said as I walked towards a cabinet

"Hello Hailey. How's your head?"

"Better. Justin spent the whole night taking care of me"
