Looking at everybody else in the room, I was trying to find some type of explanation in their face. I didn't find one.

"Okay folks, we got word that the room is over capacity. Two people max, and she won't have visitors today after 4." We all turned to the door where the doctor had come in and said those words.

The doctor was right, I guess, she did just wake up and she had brain problems that we didn't completely know about yet.

For that reason and that reason only I hoped that the words she'd just spoken came from a crazy person inside of her head or something.

"Fine by me, I'm going to use the big bathroom." Camila said before walking over to give Lauren a little kiss on the head.

"Tay and Chris, stay with your sister. I'm going to see these ladies out." I heard Ms. Clara say.

Normani walked out first and I followed with Ally hot on our heels.

"Okay Ally, what is Lauren in there talking about? Girlfriend? What about Troy?" Normani asked.

"I think Lauren is just not in her right mind right now." Answered Ms. Clara for Ally, whose face was flushed white.

"Nobody is that out of their mind to proclaim an imaginary relationship and say that they're in love with somebody." I said looking at Ally as I spoke.

"You guys have to let me explain." Ally finally spoke, but soon was looking back down at her feet having no response.

"Why didn't I know about this?" Asked Normani. "Why doesn't anybody want to tell me stuff anymore?"

"I'm so sorry Mani, I really wanted to. We dated and she helped me through so much." Ally explained.

"Dated?" I asked.

"Yes, dated. We broke up when she found out about Troy. Truth is, I just wasn't ready for everything she wanted." Ally finished.

"She really did love you Ally." Ms. Clara said with a sad smile, not looking at any of us.

"How long ago was this?" Normani asked.

"We dated for 8 months, and we broke up two weeks ago." Ally said.

"You hid a whole entire person away from me for 8 months?" Normani asked in a very hurt tone towards Ally.

"Yes." Ally said sounding very ashamed. "It wasn't hard, it was just like she was my other best friend because we'd grown up together."

"Yeah, except the fact that the two of you were hot and heavy for 8 months." I said underneath my breath.

"What?" Ally asked me unclear of what I'd said.

I rolled my eyes and started to leave, forgetting that Ally was my ride.

"I'm just tired and ready to go home." I said feeling defeated.

I noticed Normani give me a sentimental smile.

"Well, I'm going to stay with Lauren. I don't want to upset her until she remembers what really happened." Ally said, handing Normani her keys.

"We'll come back and give you the keys later." Normani replied, following me as I was already at the door.

Normani and I walked to the car in silence. She waited until we got on the road to actually start to speak.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Normani asked me, keeping her eyes on the road.

"Yes, no... I just, I don't even know." I said looking down at my lap.

"It'll be okay, Lauren is just in a daze right now. There's no way she has permanent memory loss or anything." Normani explained.

"You don't know that, nobody does." I said.

"Well, she's expected to go back into her coma. I overheard them telling her mom that. Maybe she'll remember you when she wakes up."

I flashed a look at Normani wondering if she'd heard the words that came out of her mouth.

"She's expected to what?" I asked.

Normani looked at me again, this time biting her lip. "She'll be fine D."

"You told me that last time and now she doesn't even remember my name or who I am."

"Right, so how exactly do you feel about the whole Ally and Lauren thing? I just was upset she didn't tell me, but you have a completely different situation." Normani reminded me.

"First off, Lauren should have told me." I said upset.

"She probably put it behind her, you heard what her mom said. All about how much she loved Ally and stuff. Did you tell her about Kai?" Normani asked.

"I did actually."

"Damn, Lauren's in deep shit."

"Not if she doesn't even remember me." I said.

"The thing is though, she will remember you when she wakes up this time. You just better hope that Ally doesn't go all "I love you, I want you back" after laying under her all this time at the hospital." Normani said nonchalantly as we pulled into her drive way.

"Mani, oh my god." I cried.

"I'm just saying," she started as she opened her door and closed it, making her way over to open mine. "Ally has no clue about your feelings for Lauren, tell me what exactly is stopping her from trying to get back with Lauren?"

"Troy?" I replied.

"Now Dinah, she likes Troy, but her and Lauren have history. When she said that her mom and Lauren's mom were friends, they really were friends. Lauren and Ally have known each other five-ever." Normani joked.

"I'm serious." I complained.

"I am too, you need to text her or tell her soon before something happens."

I thought about Mani's words and let them sink in as I was walking upstairs to plop on her bed.

Basically I was feeling like Lauren lied to me but her lie wasn't unforgivable. Unlike Normani, I didn't think that Ally would try to get back with Lauren after what happened. That might just be me trying to convince myself of something that's unreal, and I do that a lot. Fighting sleep was not working any more, no matter how much my had was pounding.

I looked at my phone that was sitting on Normani's charger and it said that the time was 1:23.

"Mani! How long are we sleeping for?" I yelled to her as she was in her bathroom.

"I was thinking you sleep, I shower and get my mom to help me bring Ally her car. You can take my car later, I think I'll spend the rest of Saturday here."
