"Normani baby girl breathe, deep breaths. You'll be okay." I said trying to comfort my best friend.

Normani was a mess, and seeing the doctors pushing her through the hospital doors scared the living shit out of me.

It was February, and I hadn't exactly let go of the friendship that Normani and I had founded over the years. Ally even came back into our lives after she got over the fact that Lauren was now my girlfriend. Troy convinced her that the riff between the three of us was stupid, and she listened.

Now, I'm sitting in a hospital room crying because Mani had fallen down some stairs. She was bleeding everywhere, and thankfully my mom was there and got us to the hospital.

I was shaken from my thoughts by my phone ringing, I saw the name pop up across my screen and answered it immediately. "Two Hearts, One Future".

"Babe." I heard Lauren's worried voice say through the phone.

"Hey, where are you?" I asked.

"I'm getting on the jet now, I should be there in an hour. How is she holding up?"

"They just took her back, I don't know what's about to happen. There was just a lot a lot of blood. They might try to deliver early." I said. I must have sounded worried, because Lauren's curiosity turned to worry quickly. I could hear the sudden change of tone when she spoke.

"Are you okay?"

"I will be once you get here."

"I'm rushing, I promise. See you when I get there." She said.

"Okay." I said in a low whisper.

"I love you."

"Love you too."

With that, we hung up and I looked at the clock on my phone. It was late and I was stressed.

Over the last few months, my life had fallen apart but also come full circle. Things with my mom of course got worse before they got better, Tori had come and go, school ended early, everything stopped for me. That was right when everything else started.

Normani and I eventually decided that our friendship and me being the god mother of baby Bria was more important than our argument over Kai. He decided not to be in her life because the baby would be a girl, and he wanted his first child to be a boy.

Ally came back in the picture when she found out that Normani was pregnant and living with me. She apologized and said that she couldn't wait to be an auntie and hoped that we would be friends with her again.

Lastly, but probably the most important thing, Lauren and I got together. It didn't take long for her career to take off. All I needed was to see her and Camila out in Miami having fun, and the two of them not looking so single. I let go of Tori and made a last effort in getting Lauren back. It was work, but she finally agreed that the two of us were better together.

After about 45 minutes of waiting, the doctors called me and my mom back to where Normani's room was. Walking into the room, I saw that Normani was really out of it. The nurses told us that she would be extremely tired from the procedure, but that we could go back and see the baby if we wanted.

Excited to see baby Mani, my mom agreed to stay with Normani while I went to go and see her. Walking into the room, I saw the most precious child and I felt my heart speed up in my chest. She was very small, and the most that I could do was see her from behind a glass, but for me that was enough. Bria Kori Hamilton looked like everything that was perfect in the world. I couldn't help but wipe the tears from my eyes, knowing that both Bri and Mani would be okay.
